What people are saying

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bought this 2013 and works great Performance and quality very good

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Decent features, good price, minor annoyances I bought the oven when a previous one died. The price was good, it is powerful at 1250 watts, with an inverter, for more even cooking, and fairly large for a countertop microwave oven. On the down side, it is very light, so would slide around a counter. I mounted mine inside a trim kit, preventing that problem. It also has somewhat annoying tones to signal input and that cooking is complete. I would like to just have a single beep or the ability to disable tones. Not a big deal, but would be nice to have.

I don’t see prongs in back of the dryer

Asked by: CollinsF
Hi CollinsF. Please pardon us, but we are not clear on what you are referring to as "prongs in the back of the dryer" for the LG 7.3 cu. ft. Ultra Large Capacity Dryer with Front Control Design and SteamFresh™ Cycle, Model # DLGY1201W and will need some clarification. The only things in the back of the dryer are the water inlet valve, the power cord, the gas connection, and the exhaust vent outlet...^IFV

Right side venting for gas dryers?

I want a natural gas dryer with steam but I need a right side vent. The model I wanted will not vent to the right side as a gas dryer. What models will allow me to vent to the right with gas?
Asked by: PeggyL
We appreciate your interest in these gas dryers. All of our gas dryers are designed with the same venting possibilities. The gas valve location prevents the ability for the dryer to vent from the right.

All of a sudden I smell a burning smell and so do my clothes. I have cleaned all of the vents for lent. It still smells. Why is this happening and how do I fix it?

Asked by: JSY1
We regret the trouble you have experienced with this dryer. Keep in mind that a Gas Dryer will always have some burning smell. Check for lint or dust behind the dryer itself. If this does not resolve the matter, please contact our Customer Interactive Center at 800-243-0000.

We regret the trouble you have experienced with this Gas Dryer. It is first recommended to ensure that this dryer is connected to a dedicated circuit. If the electrical current is sufficient, then the dryer may require service. DLGY1202W - Check Filter Light

About two months ago, every time we go to use the DLGY1202W dryer, the check filter light blinks, regardless of how spotless the lint filter is. The dryer will still work, although it doesnt seem to dry as well as it used to. Can anyone help?
Asked by: boulderskies
Dmoney - thank you for responding. You are correct. For others with the same question, the Check Filter light begins flashing whenever you start a cycle. I finally found this out by reading it in the manual (duh). You would think the light would mean the filter needs to be cleaned; no-its just a reminder to check it each time to dry a load of laundry. LG Support staff could've provided this information here too....
