Flexible
I bought the PH550 because it is portable, compact, and simple to set up. At home I use a splitter and have the PH550 and my TV connected simultaneously so I can use either without connecting or disconnecting one or the other. On the road I use a Dish Tailgater, a Walley, and the PH550 and a 6’ x 4’ screen in my camper so I can have giant screen satellite TV with little or no
muss and fuss. Works great! The only negative is the bulb could be brighter.

Does the projector can work on AC power always, with/without the battery being used. Just in case the battery doesn't work at all, still will it be usable using the AC adapter ?

The supplied AC/DC Adaptor has an AC Voltage input of 100~240V @ 50/60 Hz and outputs a DC Voltage of 19.0 V, 2.53 A which would be a wattage of 48.07 W...^IFV

How do I get the projector to connect to me tablet and phone
On the PH550, go to SETTINGS → WIRELESS → Search Device to search for nearby Bluetooth audio devices and then connect any detected devices to the projector. (If the device name is longer than 20 characters, no more than 20 will be displayed.) Please see page 51 in the manual. ^AC

Other versions of Windows and other Operating Systems may not be compatible. Does wireless connection work with iPhone too?
The Wireless Connection for this LG Minibeam LED Projector with Built-In Battery, Bluetooth Sound Out and Screen Share, Model # PH550 uses WiDi which is only compatible with the Android operating system. Regrettably, iOS devices are not compatible with it...^IFV

What is the lumens in ph550? I have many movies in blu-ray 1080p... Is it support 1080p? Can I connect external hard disk?
The lumens represent the quantity of light that the projector can display.
550 is highly insufficient for rooms that have even a little light.
1080p means 1920 x 1080 (Full HD) resolution for movies. Since the projector is 1280 x 720 (HD ready) you won't actually be able to enjoy the movies at their full quality.
As far as external hard drives go, 500mA power is actually not enough for most external hard drives to even turn on.
To anyone reading this, I suggest researching a bit on resolution and lumens before making a final decision on a specific projector.
