Nice Laptop!
I never owned a laptop, so wasn't sure. I had a few different brand of desk top computers and fell in love with Sony Vaio. Now that they are no longer made, I was looking for a good replacement and I believe I have. I recently bought a LG smart TV and love that, so I took a chance. I have no regrets! I love this one! Charge lasts forever and it so light and thin. Very pleased and recommend to all.

SUPER LIGHT AND SPEEDY
From the moment I picked up the laptop in the store, I was blown away with how light it was. Then I started to check out how responsive it was to my fingers and it felt super comfortable to type as well. I went to various website and boom in a flash the entire website was up. This is the first time that I checked out a laptop and wanted it right away! I walked around the store and looked at other laptops and ALL OF THEM FELT LIKE HOLDING A BRICK, they were so heavy. Many of the other computers also did not have the brilliance of the screen. After and 1 hour and checking out over 20 laptops in the same class... Hands down the LG Gram was truly a marvel and something that you can get out of your head once you experience it! I bought the laptop and have been LOVING IT EVERY SINCE. I also like the 20 HOUR BATTERY LIFE! This is my go to for daily design work and I'm sure if you get this you will be in heaven!

Slim and light weight
Compared to my old laptop, this one is so much lighter and slim. It is thinner than an actual notebook that I carry. The price was good since I bought it on Amazon Prime day. Setup was easy and everything seems good so far.

Hi there.. i would like to know do you have latest laptops with the ports like USB 3,Thunderbolt,Hdmi etc on the RIGHT side? Because i am right hander and i have the present laptops with all the potrts on LEFT side. This irittates me very hard whe.
Thank you for your interest in our LG gram Laptops. We have 24 LG gram Laptop models that are currently in our lineup and some feature Thunderbolt™ 3 ports and some do not. They will vary from 13" screen sizes to the 17" model and we recommend that you visit our page at https://www.lg.com/us/laptops to narrow down the screen size that interests you most. Each model will have its own individual product page and you will find thumbnail images for the laptops that show you both the left and right side of the laptop where you can see which ports are on which side. CAN THE 13Z980 SUPPORT MICROSOFT WINDOWS 10 "HYPER-V" VIRTUALIZATION?
Hi Milton. The LG gram 13.3” Ultra-Lightweight Laptop with Intel® Core™ i5 processor, Model # 13Z980-U.AAW5U1 comes with Windows 10 Home (64 bit) OS and according to Microsoft, the Hyper-V role cannot be installed on Windows 10 Home. You will need to upgrade from Windows 10 Home edition to Windows 10 Professional or Education. Hyper-V is built into Windows as an optional feature -- there is no Hyper-V download. The other obstacle you will have is that one of the requirements for Hyper-V is that the CPU has to have support for VM Monitor Mode Extension (VT-c on Intel CPU's). The 8th Gen. Intel® Core™ i5-8250U 1.60GHz/3.40GHz is this laptop supports Intel® Virtualization Technology (VT-x) and Intel® Virtualization Technology for Directed I/O (VT-d)...^IFV

Windows has always used build numbers. They represent significant updates to Windows. Traditionally, most people have referred to Windows based on the major, named version they’re using—Windows Vista, 7, 8, and so on. Within those versions, we also had service packs to refer to: Windows 7 Service Pack 1, for example. With Windows 10, things have changed a bit, and Microsoft did away with with service packs, instead moving to releasing two big builds each year and giving them fun names—the next big one being the Creator’s Update in Spring, 2017 which is version 1709. The LG gram 13.3” Ultra-Lightweight Laptop with Intel® Core™ i5 processor, Model # 13Z980-U.AAW5U1 comes with Windows 10 Home. In addition to builds, there also are still different editions of Windows 10—Home, Professional, Enterprise, and so on—with different features. Microsoft is also still offering both 64-bit and 32-bit versions of Windows 10, as well. If you’re using Home and you’d like to upgrade to Professional, you can upgrade to the Professional edition from within Windows 10. Switching to Windows 10 Enterprise or Education editions will require a complete reinstall and a special key that isn’t made available to normal home Windows users. The version number gives you the best information on what version of Windows 10 you’re running. The number is based on the date of the most recent large build release and uses a YYMM format. For example, in the screenshot above, the “1607” version tells us that the version we’re running is from the 7th month (July) of 2016. That’s the big Anniversary Update of Windows 10. The Fall Creators Update was released in September of 2017, so it’s version 1709. Model # 13Z980-U.AAW5U1 is a 2018 model so it will have a different build number which should have all the new features including those that were new for build 1709...^IFV

I see answers from LG employees stating that the 13Z980-U.AAW5U1 has one soldered RAM stick, with the other slot either empty or able to be upgraded. What is the maximum GB stick that can be supported in the second slot?
