How to use LG Glance by Mirametrix®
1. Click the icon on the task bar to run the app.
Or go to the Start menu [ ] → select All Apps → Click [
] LG Glance by Mirametrix].
2. Located at the top of the app screen, the [Visualizer] notifies the user using different colors whether the optimal distance is maintained for using LG Glance by Mirametrix®.
Optimal detection range is generally 35 to 75cm from the camera. If the distance detected is optimal, the [Visualizer] is displayed in green.
3. [Presence Detection] can conserve energy and safeguard screen content by switching screen mode when the user has been absent for a specified duration.
One of the chosen modes, [Screen Lock], [Dark Screen] or [Screensaver On], switches on.
※ [Dark Screen] makes the screen dark without protecting screen content.
4. [Privacy Guard] is used to make the screen blurry when someone tries to look at the screen from behind the user.
All the connected monitors become blurry. To clear the blur, press [Alt+F2] keys.
5. [Privacy Alert] displays an alert icon when someone tries to look at your screen.
Depending on the location of the person trying to take a peek, the icon can be displayed on the top left or top right of the screen.
※ Using the buttons below the alert icon, you can get online help, change settings, pause or close the icon.
6. [Smart Player] pauses multimedia playing on the screen when the user does not look at the screen or leaves the seat for some time.

If the user looks at the screen for a long time, a notification appears to prevent digital eye strain.
If you slouch near the screen, then it will tell you to sit in an upright position.
