LG Washer - Why is the Rinse Time Increasing

  • Troubleshooting

At a Glance

There is a difference between the amount of bubbles created by front load washer-specific detergent and general use detergent.
In addition, the detergents dedicated to front load washing machines vary brand-by-brand in the amount of bubbles they produce.
If you use too much detergent or use one that produces lots of bubbles, wash and rinse times may increase as a result of the washer measuring the turbidity (intensity of water contamination) and determining the time for processing.

Causes and Symptoms

  • Rinsing time increases and bubbles remain.

Try this

Use a detergent dedicated to front load washing machines and use the correct dose as recommended by the manufacturer.

➔ Avoid using a detergent that produces lots of bubbles.

The Artificial Intelligence Wash detects the intensity of contamination and may change the washing time and the number of rinses.
  • Washing time
If the intensity of contamination is low, the time may decrease by 2 to 10 minutes, and if it is detected as high, the time may increase by at least 5 and up to 30 minutes.
  • Number of rinses
Rinsing may be repeated by up to 2 times depending on the intensity of contamination, and by up to 3 times depending on weather conditions.
