ROOM TEMPERATURE IS SHOWING INCORRECT
It is normal for the temperature display to read 5-10 degrees higher than the actual room temperature. This is because the temperature sensor is located in the top hinge, above the door. This area is warmer because the heat in the room will naturally rise and there will be heat from the unit rising up from behind the refrigerator. Some additional factors that contribute to a high room temperature reading on the display are:
Cabinets installed above the refrigerator
Kitchen is usually the warmest room in the house.
Operating heat producing appliances such as the cook top, oven, and dishwasher.
