Sensor Cook - NeoChef™

• The LG NeoChef microwave oven offers sensor cooking features that make microwave cooking even more convenient.

• The sensor cook menu has preprogrammed setting to automatically cook certain foods.

• Choose the setting that matches the type and amount of food you want to cook.

• Using the list located at the top of the microwave oven cavity.

• Use the sensor cook chart in the owner’s manual for further information and detailed instructions.

• For example, to cook a frozen entrée:

1. Remove any outer packaging if required.

2. Take a knife and make a few slits in the plastic cover to vent.

Note: Make sure all food items are placed on a microwave safe container or dish.

3. Open the microwave oven door.

4. Press CLEAR.

5. Place your frozen dinner on the center of the glass turn table for best results.

6. Press sensor cook repeatedly to select the correct food category.

7. For a frozen entrée press until Sc – 3 appears in the display.

8. Close the oven door and press start.




• The sensor reheat menu has programmed setting to automatically reheat certain foods.

• For categories that are listed on the label located at the top of the microwave oven cavity.

• Use these categories to select the sensor reheat option that match the type and amount of food you want to reheat.

• Use the sensor reheat chart located in the owner’s manual for further information and detailed instructions.

• To reheat a plate of food:

1. Open the microwave oven door.

2. Press CLEAR.

3. Place the plate on the center of the glass turn table for best results.

4. Press sensor reheat repeatedly to select the correct food category.

5. In this case press until Sr – 3 for dinner plate appears in the display.

6. Close the oven door and press start.




• The NeoChef microwave oven also has a sensor pop-corn function which heats one 3.5 once packaged microwave popcorn bag.

Note: For best result use fresh bags of popcorn.

• To pop pop-corn:

1. Open the microwave oven door.

2. Press CLEAR.

3. Press the POP-CORN button once.

4. The word PoP will show in the display.

5. Close the oven door and press START .

6. After the pop-corn has popped, let it stand for a minute or two and enjoy.
