At a Glance

To ensure proper dispensing and to minimize problems with your LG washing machine detergent dispenser, it is recommended that you clean the dispenser once a month.

1. Remove the dispenser drawer and clean the area
  
  1 Pull out the detergent dispenser fully, push it upward, and then firmly pull it out.
  
  2 Use a small brush to clean any residue from the upper and lower parts of the recess.
2. Clean the inserts and drawer with warm water
  
  1 Use a soft cloth or brush to clean and remove any residue
  
  Note
  DO NOT use soap when cleaning the drawer and inserts.
  
  2 Wipe off any moisture with a dry towel or cloth after cleaning.
  
  3 Return the inserts to the proper compartments
3. Reinstall the dispenser drawer
  
  1 Tilt the detergent dispenser upward. (at least 45 degrees).
  
  2 Gently push up the box and slide it into the position so that both sides of the white parts are inserted into the groove in the back of the detergent dispenser.
Cleaning a dispenser drawer

1 Open the dispenser drawer, then pull it out while pressing the [PUSH] button.

2 Clean it with a toothbrush using lukewarm water.

3 Reassemble and reinsert the dispenser drawer.
Cleaning a dispenser compartment

1 Open the dispenser compartment and pull the edges up to pull it out as shown.

2 Pull out the fabric softener dispenser, and lift the cover and clean it with a toothbrush using lukewarm water.

3 Put the lid back on tightly and reinstall the dispenser inserts into the proper areas.
