Rated 5 out of 5 by from OLED is the way to go Best screen quality of any tv I or my parents own. I had the 8550 Samsung 4k and my dad has the 9000 series Samsung 4k.. My dad got the last year model of this tv when it was only 1080p and he prefers that over the 9000 series samsung 4k. I purchased this one that is 4k- LG+ OLED= the only way to go. I rated the value at 5stars assuming you find a deal of some sort but i would have to give lower at full msrp.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from awesome TV but.... got the 65 inch 9600 curved in Dec of 2015 and i love it from the mouse style remote to the picture quality. however a year later and its starts to make a weird noise like a rock hitting a glass window but not everytime , fast forward 3 yrs later its gotten to a point where the pop glass sound is every 30 mins or so, even when the TV is off for several hrs . Dec 2018 i'm calling in the service plan.

Is this television equipped with bluetooth capability and can you burn images on the screen?

The LG Curved OLED 4K Smart TV - 55" Class (54.6" Diag), Model # 55EG9600 does have a built-in Bluetooth module. When the currently displayed app has not received any user input for an hour on this TV, it will be replaced by a screen saver. If you turn the screen saver option off, the current picture may create an afterimage burned onto your screen, possibly permanently...^IFV

In sound out what is audio out line out? And does this transmit digital?

Hello Dosbocas. The only audio output on the LG Curved OLED 4K Smart TV - 55" Class (54.6" Diag), Model # 55EG9600 is the Optical Digital Audio Output which supports an uncompressed 5.1 digital audio signal. The Sound Out can be configured to output a PCM signal or a Digital signal. If the sound input is an MPEG signal, the TV will output a PCM signal. If the input is Dolby Digital, or HE-AAC, the output will be Dolby Digital when the TV is set to auto. If the signal is PCM, the output is PCM...^IFV

Why has LG discontinued 3D with their 4k products? With 4k, the potential of LG's superlative 3D technology is realized, allowing all current 3D HD media to be viewed. In fact, with 4k upscaling and passive glasses, the 3D viewing will be unmatched!

I have the 55EG9600-UA and just recently got the Xbox One X. Does this model not support HDR from the Xbox One X?? Will be extremely disappointed that I spent a significant amount of money on a TV that doesn’t support HDR.

The LG Curved OLED 4K Smart TV - 55" Class (54.6" Diag), Model # 55EG9600 is a TV that was released before HDR standards were set but later received a firmware upgrade that enabled consumers to stream HDR content from current and future streaming content providers but not for external devices so it will not support HDR through its HDMI ports...^IFV
