Rated 1 out of 5 by from Well, they tried. I have owned this TV for about 4 years. And well. The experience has not been good. At first the picture/sound/apps were all great. However soon after stuff started going wrong. The remote would just stop working randomly and no matter what I did I couldn't get it work properly again. After about 6 months the WIFI stopped working all together. No matter what I did. So I ran some ethernet cable and ran it up through the old cable hole. That worked well until a few months down the road the network stopped working at all.. Thank goodness for a Fire Stick. Now after only 4 years the TV will randomly turn itself off. Calling LG customer service is like going to the dentist. Something you know you have to do but you know it's going to painful. The customer service is a joke. Called numerous times for the issues.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Never Buying LG Again Had this TV for about 2 years before I began to get serious issues with any bluetooth and wifi connectivity- would disconnect every few minutes. Moved to using an ethernet cable and nothing wireless, and it still tells me i don't have an internet connection constantly AND even worse is every 3 seconds the sound will cut out for 1 second. This makes watching anything UNBEARABLE. Can’t find a workaround (even with a soundbar), flip of a coin whether it will have sound issues or not but it always coincides with messages about no internet connectivity/ bluetooth going out. Any LG forum or customer service advice will tell you that your tv is fine and anything wrong is some fault of anything other than their device…

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Wi-Fi issues. Warning TV was fine for a few years until Wi-Fi disconnects regularly with a message Wi-Fi turned off.. there’s no way to turn it back on! Takes multiple rebooting to reconnect and it lasts a week at best. Avoid LG TV

Hi, I have a 65SK8000PLU that’s 3 years old, and the screen got cracked during a move. Can this be fixed?

There are several layers for the LCD screen on the LG SK8000PUA 4K HDR Smart LED SUPER UHD TV w/ AI ThinQ® - 65'' Class (64.5'' Diag), Model # 65SK8000PUA. A qualified LG Service Technician or an LG Authorized Service Center will need to inspect and diagnose the severity of the cracked screen to determine if the whole screen needs to be replaced or not. WiFi will not turn on and when connected via Ethernet cable keeps saying connected and disconnected. I have rebooted the tv and updated it but still makes no difference

Wi-Fi is a function that allows computers, smartphones or the LG SK8000PUA 4K HDR Smart LED SUPER UHD TV w/ AI ThinQ® - 55'' Class (54.6'' Diag), Model # connect to the internet or communicate with one another wirelessly within a particular area. It will not turn on when you connect the TV to your router via its Ethernet port which is a wired connection. If you need assistance connecting the TV to your router via Ethernet, please contact the LG Support Center in the U.K. for assistance...^Ivan

does this tv support E arc hdmi or arc hdmi?

HDMI eARC is an HDMI 2.1specififcation and HDMI 2.1 ports were not featured in our TVs until 2019. The LG SK8000PUA 4K HDR Smart LED SUPER UHD TV w/ AI ThinQ® - 65'' Class (64.5'' Diag), MOdel # 65SK8000PUA is a 2018 model so it features an HDMI ARC port. It does not have an HDMI eARC port...^IFV

I have the adapter for A/V input, but is there a way to use Component cables with this?

You mean the green/blue/red Y/Pb/Pr cables? No, though my refurbished model was missing the analog dongle, it's for the red/white/yellow even more old school AV connection, but if you have an A/V receiver that supports HDMI, it should be able to take component input and send HDMI output to the TV from an HDMI out connection.

I have a 49sk800pua and everytime i turn it on it has half the screen darkens out or all the screen darkened my tv is set on vivid with the power saving turned of so i know its not due to that.
