What people are saying

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LG company stands behind their products. I actually purchased my TV in September 2019, along with a two-year extended warranty. At some point in the third year the TV screen began showing progressively worsening yellow-green shift and pixel burn-in. I contacted LG and hey had a technician come to my house and install a new front panel, under warranty. Good as new! Beautiful picture. (See before and after photos).

Why doesn’t Best Buy sell this TV any longer? Are there issues with it? I have this TV but would really like to know why Best Buy doesn’t sell it any longer.

The LG B9 65 inch Class 4K Smart OLED TV w/AI ThinQ® (64.5'' Diag), Model # OLED65B9PUA is a 2019 model that was succeeded by the 2020 LG BX 65 inch Class 4K Smart OLED TV w/ AI ThinQ® (64.5'' Diag), Model # OLED65BXPUA. Best Buy would have sold the 2019 model until it sold out which is why it no longer sells the 2019 model just as the 2019 model succeeded the 2018 model which also would have been available until the 2018 model sold out. We manufacture new OLED TV models each year that come with the latest technology and advancements and a new webOS TV Operating System that supports the latest technologies...^IFV

I bought a TV a month ago in my country a 55 OLEDB9PSB LG OLED model and it gets very hot so much so that my room is small and it feels warm with the TV. My question is if this model is like this or do I have a defective TV?

Asked by: Anonymous
The 55" OLEDB9PSB is not a model that was released in the U.S. and we do not have information for its specifications here in the U.S. Which country is your country where you purchased the TV from and what voltage does your country use? What is the power rating on the TV? Unfortunately, without knowing the specifications for the TV and its power rating, we cannot determine what the issue may be. The TV would have to be inspected by a qualified LG service technician or an authorized LG repair Service center, but that is where you run into issues because parts for TVs purchased outside of the U.S. are not available in the U.S. and the TV can only be serviced in its country of purchase. If the voltage for the TV is not the same as the voltage used in the U.S., that could be why the TV may be heating up to the point that it is heating up your room. The U.S. equivalent of your TV is the LG B9 55 inch Class 4K Smart OLED TV w/AI ThinQ® (54.6'' Diag), Model # OLED55B9PUA which has an operating temperature of 0 °C to 40 °C (32 °F to 104 °F) which shouldn't heat the room up to the extent that it feels warm unless the room is an especially small room with no ventilation...^IFV
