What people are saying

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great picture! I've owned this tv for over 2 years and had great performance. However, it now has a problem with burn in on the screen. Even though the warranty has expired, the LG tech is hard at work trying to solve the problem.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from WOW!!! I never knew a TV could look so good. I am amazed how real life the picture is, almost like seeing everything in person. The happy with my new TV.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the sleek new remote This is our third LG TV. We enjoy the simplified, smaller, sleek remote. Picture is great. I'm not a fan of the AI 'pointer' and voice activation etc., but that is just because I am old school and new-technology averse. My only complaint would be with the design of the base of the television. Our previous models were on a swivel, and there was an open gap between the bottom of the tv and the base. That meant, one way or the other, I could easily clean behind the tv. This set does not swivel, and there is no gap between the bottom of the tv and the base. This is a definite disadvantage, because I cannot get to the back of the tv without pulling it out of the entertainment center, which can be a dangerous proposition. More importantly, we can't access the accessory cable jacks for the same reason. We encourage you to return to previous designs that include a swivel base, or at least a base with an open space below the tv so access to the back of the tv is possible.

I’m considering this OLED tv but would like to know if it can be wall mounted and if so, what wall mount works or is recommended? Thanks

Asked by: EdHusky
Wall Mounts come in three types, Fixed, Tilting, and Full Motion. As long as they are VESA Compliant Wall Mounts and they support the A x B VESA Wall Mount Interface pattern that is supported on a VESA compliant TV, Regardless of brand or manufacturer, VESA Compliance guarantees that the wall mounts will work with that TV. The LG E8PUA 4K HDR OLED Glass TV w/ AI ThinQ® - 65" Class (64.5" Diag), Model # OLED65E8PUA is a VESA Compliant TV that has an A x B VESA Wall Mount Interface Pattern of 300 x 200 mm so any VESA Compliant Wall Mount that supports that pattern can be used for the TV. You just have to decide which type of wall mount best suits your needs. LG has a Full Motion Wall Mount that is specially designed for this TV, the LG EZ Slim Wall Mount, Model # OTW420B...^IFV

Does anyone know detail about the nits?

Asked by: 94n1
Hello, LG does not list Nits, you can refer to the UHD Alliance Certification, (of which LG is a member), requirements for 4K TVs that it must meet or exceed strict performance levels for resolution (4K – 4 times sharper than HD), high dynamic range (HDR – brilliant brights, deepest darks), and wide color spectrum (more lifelike colors), along with recommendations for immersive audio (multi-dimensional sound) among others. ^AC
