What People Are Saying

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Burn in issues at 4000hours on LG SIGNATURE 65G6P My TV is used frequently but I have recently noticed "burn-in" that is becoming quite noticeable. For example a favorite channel that I watch is The BBC WORLD NEWS and the bbc logo and ticker line is now clearly visible. This is even after using all the inbuilt features of the LG to help mitigate and avoid such from happening. My first purchase of this TV when unpacked just would not activate and turn on and so a new one was sent which has functioned well till the "burn in issue". I fully understand that this is a weakness of OLED TV's but I am now almost sure I will not upgrade to the LG77 inch Signature that I was on the verge of purchasing. My 65 inch was by no means a "Budget TV" which I didn't mind but I will not spend even more for the 77inch to end up with the same issue

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great features and intuitive interface Best Buy purchase. 4k picture is amazing. Very little glare from lighting in living room. Simple remote does what I need because interface is so good. Wired and wireless network connection works great. Streams off my Synology NAS using PLEX media server reliably and was easy to setup with software available on LG content store. Store has a bunch of useful apps. Android remote control app is to use, setup, and reliable. Highly recommend overall.

Can you wall mount the oled77G7P? How

Asked by: Dmp1
The OLED77G7P is really only designed to be used with the LG OTW630B wall mount. I have mounted 2 for work and ran into this issue both times because the client wasn't sold the mount. The way the base is secured for mounting requires the included security clips which double as the mounting points for this specific mount. To use another mount, you cannot use the LG provided security clips and you will have to rely on the mounting arms to keep the base in place which would require long M8 screws for the upper holes and spacers to account for the offset that would normally be addressed by the supplied security clips. The base for the 65" secures a little differently and will therefore work with most VESA mounts.

Can the OLED65G7P be wall mounted without the attached base? I have the unit and based mounted to my wall with the screen sitting out away from the wall. I would prefer to leave the base on a console table and the screen mounted against the wall.

Asked by: JArmijo
I am sorry but you can not separate these pieces on this unit. ^AC
