Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible drying time, prepare for over 7 hours Don’t purchase this machine!! It does not dry unless you want to take it to the laundromat after you wash it! We bought this 28 days ago and have done over 15 loads of wash And had to take all of them to the laundry mat to dry. Manufacturer said it can take over 6 hours.. don’t purchase this!!

Since I already have a vent can I use it with this unit? Also does this unit come in silver or stainless steel exterios color?

The LG Front Load Washer / Dryer Combo, Model # WM3997HWA is a Ventless Condensing Drying unit and there is no way to connect it to a vent or for it to work with a vent. It is only available in white...^IFV

My clothes are really wrinkled after drying, I have tried doing small loads and trying to take them out right after the machine finishes the dry cycle but it is too hot, is there a setting to just tumble dry clothes after the drying cycle?

Press the &ldquo;Power&rdquo; button! &nbsp;Load wet clothes! &nbsp;Press &ldquo;Dry&rdquo; button and close &nbsp;dryer door! &nbsp;Dryer button is best in normal position! &nbsp;Dryer will sense approximate time! &nbsp;Place Spin Speed to &ldquo;No Spin&rdquo; position and activate with &gt;|| button! &nbsp;Machine will highlight drying time in digital display!

Does the combo washer dryer allow you to fo a wash without activating the drying feature? &nbsp;There are occasions where we won&rsquo;t want to machine dry.&nbsp;

The LG Front Load Washer / Dryer Combo, Model # WM3997HWA can be set to just wash without activating the dryer. The unit has a DRY button on it that you press to select a dry cycle and enable drying. If you are not looking to dry, then you need not press the button...^IFV

Can you use dryer balls with this combo?

Dryer balls come in a variety of materials and sizes. The most popular type of dryer balls are wool dryer balls, but there are also plastic variants and rubber variants. The theory behind how wool dryer balls work is that they help prevent laundry from clumping in the dryer. The balls also retain the heat they receive on the dryer and boost the drying process. This way, laundry dries more efficiently and faster, thus reducing drying times in your load of laundry. Additionally, wool dryer balls help to soften fabrics when used in the dryer. The balls continually agitate against the fibers in clothes and linens. So, after a (shorter) drying cycle, your clothes would also be soft to the touch. When used properly, dryer balls can even take care of static cling. For them to work properly, they need space; they need room. This means that wool dryer balls work more efficiently with medium to small-sized loads. They can be thrown into the tub with your clothes in the LG Front Load Washer / Dryer Combo, Model # WM3997HWA during the drying cycle.
