Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great features! We love this washer! It’s a great upgrade for us. It cleans large loads, isn’t nosy, and has a great diagnosis feature that tells you when something is wrong. Would definitely recommend.

What is the best way to presoak blood-stained towels?  The 30-minute soak in the Soak cycle doesn’t seem adequate.

Asked by: Presoaking blood stains
Hello there! Heavier soils and tougher stains may require extra cleaning power. Select the Soak or Stain Care feature to boost the cleaning power of the selected cycle. You can try adding a baking soda paste (two parts baking soda to 1 part water) before putting the towels in the tub. ^Jolly

What does the download option on the machine mean? Also, what option is the quickest time to wash a load?

Asked by: Fal28
Thanks for the question! The download means "Download Cycle" in 5.5 cu.ft. Mega Capacity Smart wi-fi Enabled Top Load Washer with TurboWash3D™ Technology (WT7400CV). You can download new and specialized cycles that are not included in the standard cycles on the appliance. You will be needing the ThinQ app for this. If you want a quick wash, you may choose the Speed Wash option. For more inquiries, send us a private message on Facebook or Twitter with the handle @LGUSSupport, and your contact information, and we'll be pleased to see what we can do to help. Thanks. ^Jolly

The ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 5.5 cu.ft. Mega Capacity Smart Wi-Fi Enabled Top Load Washer with TurboWash3D™ Technology, Model # WT7400CV features an Add Garments indicator that let's you know when the best timeis to pause the wash cycle to add garments if you have forgotten to add an item or need to remove foreign objects like coins or keys after the cycle has started. How long does a "Normal" wash cycle take?

Asked by: Eric625
How long the Normal cycle for the ENERGY STAR® Certified LG 5.5 cu.ft. Mega Capacity Smart Wi-Fi Enabled Top Load Washer with TurboWash3D™ Technology, Model # WT7400CW will take depends on the size of your load and your chosen options and cycle modifiers. When a cycle is selected, the default time for that cycle is displayed. This time will change as modifiers or options are selected. If the display shows ---, then the time will be displayed after the load sensing has detected the load size. The time shown is only an estimate. This time is based on normal operating conditions. Several external factors (load size, room temperature, incoming water temperature, etc.) can affect the actual time. Once the Start/Pause button is pressed, the washer will measure the size of the load. The estimated time may change once the load size has been measured...^Ivan

Can anyone tell me the decibel level of the end of cycle? Also how about noise and vibration during a regular normal wash cycleMy laundry room backs up to my kids room and I don’t want items to fall from shelves on the other side!

Asked by: Ridymon
Regrettably, our specifications for the ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 5.5 cu.ft. Mega Capacity Smart wi-fi Enabled Top Load Washer with TurboWash3D™ Technology, Model # WT7400CV do not list a decibel level for the washer nor for the end-of-cycle melody. The washer has a TrueBalance™ Anti-Vibration System that is designed to minimize washer noise and vibration for. smooth, quiet performance in any room of the house - even on the 2nd floor, but the washer must be installed on firm flooring to minimize vibration during the spin cycle. To minimize noise and vibration, install the washer on a level, solidly constructed floor capable of supporting the washer without flexing or bouncing. Concrete flooring is best, but a wood floor is sufficient, provided it is built to FHA standards. If your floor has too much flex, reinforce it to make it more rigid. If the floor is not solid, it may cause severe vibration and noise. Make sure that the floor is clean, dry, and free of dust, dirt, water, and oil so the leveling feet cannot slide easily. Leveling feet that can move or slide on the floor can contribute to excess vibration and noise. Allow for or sufficient space between the walls and the washer for installation and to make sure that the washer does not transfer noise and vibrations to adjacent walls...^Ivan

Asked by: Portchop
This machine is the worst!!  My clothes do not come out clean regardless of which HE brand detergent I use… I’ve had clothes come out of the wash dirtier than when they went in! ! I load it properly etc….  I wish I could trade it in for a different model. It is hands down the worst machine I have ever owned! Three months in and I’m ready to put it to the curb!!!!

Asked by: Momma Needs A New Washer
Regrettably, our specifications for the ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 5.5 cu.ft. Mega Capacity Smart Wi-Fi Enabled Top Load Washer with TurboWash3D™ Technology, Model # WT7400CW, and the ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 4.5 cu. ft.
