LG Ranks Top Phone Maker in Both Western Europe and US

SAN DIEGO, December 1, 2005 - According to Strategy Analytic's recently released mobile phone user satisfaction index, LG Electronics MobileComm (LG Mobile Phones) has claimed the number one rank in terms of customer satisfaction among leading mobile handset manufacturers. Results of the customer satisfaction index is based on survey research which included 2,000 users of mobile devices in the US and Western Europe.

The Strategy Analytics Advanced Wireless Laboratory (AWL) Service asked mobile phone users to gauge their satisfaction with their device in' different categories including stylish qualities, battery life and download experience. LG led the customer satisfaction index in the U.S. in 9 of' categories, leading to a stellar 80% rate of user satisfaction, and in 17 of' categories in Western Europe scoring an even more impressive 86% customer satisfaction rate.

Highly successful and stylish LG handsets launched to-date in 2005 include the flagship EV-DO-capable VX8100 with MP3 capability, the MM535 1.3 megapixel camera phone, the PM-225 device and The V (VX9800). This research was conducted within the Strategy Analytics Advanced Wireless Lab Service, a testing and benchmarking lab quantifiably measuring and identifying 'best in class' device, application, and services.
