NEW YORK, Aug. 2, 2005 - As they set sail today aboard the Lady Windridge private yacht, LG Electronics showed off its innovative IT products today including the FLATRON Ultra Slim Series, the company's flagship LCD monitors, during the company's 2005 summer line show, a pre-holiday season preview.

Underscoring the company's "LG: Life's Good" marketing theme, this exclusive gala-by-the-sea event provided attendees a glimpse into the company's LCD, optical storage and Flash RAM products expected to be on shelves just in time for the holidays. LG also showcased other product categories such as mobile phones, plasma HDTVs and home appliances.

In the spotlight at the summer line show, LG unveiled its stylish multi-function LCD monitor, a new line of USB thumb drives, as well as the company's latest 32-inch LCD which was recently used by EA Sports to unveil 'Madden NFL 06' at an event in the ESPN Zone in Times Square.

Also on display aboard the Lady Windridge was LG's proprietary f-ENGINE technology. An exclusive technology developed by the industry leader, f-ENGINE is a chip inside an LCD that has the ability to enhance brightness and color independently of each other  automatically resulting in the most true to life images available in LCDs today.

FLATRON Ultra Slim Series (80-Series) L1980Q/81Q:
Recently awarded PC World magazine's prestigious 'World Class Award,' these LCDs are a perfect marriage of performance and style. LG's FLATRON L3200TF looks right at home in any multi-media center. The latest big screen LCD by LG features an 8ms response time, and comes equipped with a TV tuner and a stunning 1366 x 768 (WXGA) resolution. Packed with Multi-A/V capabilities, as well as like picture-in-picture, picture-on-picture and picture-by-picture features, this sleek LCD monitor TV is a technological work of art.

FLATRON M1910A:
The M1910A represents LG's latest offering in the U.S. multi-function LCD market. The perfect solution for those who desire 'all-in-one' display technology, this computer monitor and TV combination can easily connect to any AV device, such as a DVD player, VCR, video game console or camcorder. Its 12ms response time ensures the action stays sharp and smooth. Available now, the M1910A features built-in speakers, f-ENGINE and a full working remote control.

FLATRON L2013P:
With a stunning 1600 x 1200 native resolution, the FLATRON L2013P is ideal for graphic artists, CAD designers, engineers or anybody in need of a display that shows crisp and sharp details. The L2013P also has a contrast ratio of 400:1, a 178o/178o-viewing angle and an impressive 16ms response time.
