Multi-Tasking Home Appliance Continues to Turn Heads, Entertain and
Bring that Certain Sparkle into the Kitchen

NEW YORK --- December 14, 2005 --- LG Electronics, a leading global consumer products manufacturer, continues to make kitchens more innovative, stylish and family-friendly with a new edition of its popular TV Refrigerator. The unique, digitally-converged device is updated with a fresh design and new features, enabling consumers to get more out of the kitchen's most important appliance  the refrigerator. On display for the first time at the company's 2006 product preview in New York City, the newest version of the TV Refrigerator now includes a cable-ready, 15-inch LCD television screen with remote control, enhanced personalization features and a display for a family information center that includes weather forecasting, photo album and recipe bank  all in a sleek side-by-side unit.

The TV Refrigerator continues to dazzle consumers who are seeking premium, technologically advanced appliances for their homes. The popular side-by-side model offers an innovative, multi-function digital LCD display on the left side. It houses an information center with features that include weather forecasts, date/time, calendar with alarm and a 100 pre-loaded, eight category recipe bank. A personal photo album can be uploaded via a USB port in the dispenser area. A child lock function, room temperature display, user manual, and product controls and warnings are also part of the complete package.

The right side features a 15-inch standard definition, cable-ready LCD TV with DVD connection and FM radio for hours of cooking and kitchen entertainment.
The LG TV Refrigerator line also incorporates LG's new SpacePlus Icemaker technology, which makes ice directly on the door, as opposed to on the top of the freezer section. This technological advancement frees up valuable storage capacity within the freezer compartment, while still delivering the convenience of an on-the-door ice dispenser. The icemaker features a custom cube option and a removable bin, making serving a breeze. The SpacePlus Icemaker technology is also available in other select LG side-by-side refrigerator models.
The TV Refrigerator also boasts other convenient features of LG's 26 cubic foot Side-by-Side Refrigerator, including:
- Digital temperature sensor controls
- OptiFresh crisperUp to a four-step temperature control, which includes thawing and express chilling, for a variety of foods
- TouchSense Controls 
- Jet Freezing drawer  A drawer that rapidly freezes food to maximize freshness and improve the quality of thawed foods, including meats
- BioShield anti-bacteria gasket
- Icy Water Reservoir
- CustomCube Ice Maker  Automatic ice maker provides cubed or crushed ice
- Grab n Go door basket, wine rack, pizza nook, tilting door bins, glass and sliding shelves 
- Built-in look with hidden hinges and contoured door design

The LG TV Refrigerator continues to capture industry recognition and accolades including the 2006 and 2005 CES "Innovation" awards, 2004 TechLiving "Hot List" and the 2004 Popular Science's "Best of What's New" awards. The new TV Refrigerator, model LSC26990TT, will be available Q2 2006 in a titanium finish at a manufacturer's suggested retail price of $3,499.
