Hi I own a N4B2ND4 LG Network Storage and I would like to access the web interface but I don't really have neither the username not the password to access the management interface. I tried calling the international number it always hangs up as? Thanks

Does the installed Blu-Ray burner on the LG N4B2ND4 support BDXL (100/128GB) disks?

I imagine that it does, but I would rather not purchase these disks and find out the expensive way.

The LG MyData iPhone app does not work with this NAS

Will the LG MyData iPhone app be updated to work with the new user interface?
Asked by: Thesales
We regret the inconvenience you have experienced with this NAS unit. After testing this model with the iPhone App, it appears that the LG MyData iPhone App is already compatible with the new User Interface and update for the N4B2N. Check to ensure that the DLNA is enabled, and that port #49815 is open on your router. If you have additional questions for this device, please contact our Customer Interactive Center at 800-243-0000.

Where do I put my music, photos and video files?

I just upgraded to the new firmware and therefore the new user interface. There is a folder labeled Multimedia and that is where I put all of my music, photos and videos but they do not show up on the iPhone app. Where should I put those files?
Asked by: Thesales
The MyData app from LG, of course!

Installed the new firmware on an N4B2N, now I'm in trouble ... Help!

I work for a video production company and convinced them to buy an N4B2N to support our Macs, e.g. TimeMachine, and data; it's populated with 4 2TB, 7200 RPM hard drives configured as Raid 5. Before upgrading, I backed up 1.5 TB, via e-SATA, to a 2 TB hard drive. After upgrading, the Macs now work with TimeMachine, but I can't figure out how to move the data back. There doesn't appear to be any support for e-SATA or USB attached hard drives in the new firmware. There was nothing in the release notes regarding changes to e-SATA and USB hard drive support. I'm in a bind: If I re-install the old firmware, then no TimeMachine support, but I can move the data back. If I remain on the new firmware, then there is TimeMachine support, but I can't move the data back. Anyone have any ideas?

When I plugged my external hard drive in the NAS recognized it right away. I was then able to use my computer to simply copy from the external to the NAS.
