Does the installed Blu-Ray burner on the LG N4B2ND4 support BDXL (100/128GB) disks?

I imagine that it does, but I would rather not purchase these disks and find out the expensive way.

Any news on the updated firmware?

Firmware that was supposed to add OSX Lion support is still not available. Can you give us new information on when to expect this? It has been released for the N2 versions but not for the N4 yet.... it's been almost a year since OSX Lion was released and at the moment my NAS is more or less just an expensive brick.
