What people are saying

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent phone! My family makes fun of it, but with Verison pre paid I get unlimited calling, texting, and internet. I am limited to my emails, weather and news, but what more can one ask for? I have had this phone for over 7 years and it still works great. I have had it submerged in water twice and the back got wet once. Each time when it dried out it worked great! I want another one just incase the one that I have goes out on me, but hard to find a LG-VN150PP

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This product is OK The problem is the texting....I have to find the right spot on the keys to text and this takes time. There is a lot of space between liines as I text and this wastes time for typing and correction. I would have liked a hard copy of the instructions. I have a few questions...can I put in a micro card?

I have an LG Flip phone that's 3G and need to upgrade to 4G. Is this 4G? Also, I have a Verizon contract and would like to take this to Verizon to transfer phone # and contacts. Any problems with that?

Asked by: Jerry3putt
The LG Revere 2 Flip Phone, Model # VN150S only has 1xRTT speeds, and no 3G. It cannot be upgraded to 4G. Since 1026, Verizon stated publicly that it was actively decommissioning its 3G CDMA network. Initially, Verizon announced it would close down its 3G network in 2019. However, it extended its shutoff date - first to the end of 2020 and now to the end of 2022 - in order to care for its customers and give them every effort to minimize disruptions to their service as they move to newer and more advanced technologies. Verizon has already communicated to customers that it is no longer allowing devices that are not 4G LTE capable to be activated on its network, so the focus now is the smooth migration of the remaining 3G devices in the market onto 4G LTE or 5G capable products and services. Additionally, Verizon already developed migration plans with most of its business customers to ensure any 3G devices they have in vehicles and equipment have been migrated to 4G LTE or 5G technology as soon as possible. Customers who still have a 3G device will continue to be strongly encouraged to make a change now. As Verizon moves closer to the shutoff date customers still accessing the 3G network may experience a degradation or complete loss of service, and Verizon service centers will only be able to offer extremely limited troubleshooting help on these older devices. will turn off the last of the 3G CDMA network on December 31, 2022, months after our competitors have shut off their networks completely. The date will not be extended again. We’re communicating this again now in order to provide customers plenty of time to complete their migration.
