Rated 1 out of 5 by from (LDF 7551ST) Bottom dishes won't clean I've had this dishwasher (LDF 7551ST) since 9/2013. I should have returned it the first month it was installed, but I was foolishly optimist and thought I could work through the problems. I have to pre-wash everything that goes into the machine. Most of the time I just hand wash the dishes to avoid the bother. I have an error code that does not show up anywhere. It is two characters long and the first character looks like an unfinished character, almost as if part of the light display is burned out. The second character looks like a lower case letter h. At some point I'll see another dishwasher for sell and I'll buy it. One thing for sure, it will not be a LG brand.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from excellent but hoses on the unit constantly leak love the unit but the hoses they use in the unit constantly thru time leak in between the ribs of the hose as shown in the photo the repair technician replaced one hose and told us that is the only warranty we get on the hoses so another different hose just started leaking in between the ribs totally different hose and we have to pay for it to get it fixed. I think they used a cheap hose to begin with we had the unit for less then 18 months and this is the second hose to spring a leak. I am now looking at the manuals to see the hose before I de-install it out of the kitchen counter to see if I could use a more superior type of hose and to see if it can be retrofit into the LG product. If they would have spent just a couple of bucks more on the quality of hose they could have avoided all these issues. I would have paid more just to not be inconvenienced

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very dissatisfied with this dishwasher. When I fill the lower rack and go to roll it back into the tub it falls off of the side tracks that are formed into the tub walls. The rack was replaced once which helped for a short amount of time and started doing it again. Very aggravating to get it loaded and then have it fall off of the track and have to reach in and lift the rack and try to get it back on the track. It also has not done a very good job of cleaning. The glasses always come out with out being clean and have to be hand washed! I have cleaned the filter and it did not make any difference. My old dishwasher did a much better job than this one. I will be replacing this one as soon as I can and it won't be this brand.

My dishwasher is malfunctioning. There is a code * 13

Asked by: Jill23
We regret the trouble you have experienced with this dishwasher. The IE error code, according to page 29 of the owner’s manual, is indicative of a Water Inlet Problem. This can be caused by a clogged, kinked or frozen water inlet hose. It is recommended to check the water supply to the dishwasher.

Our dishwasher gives an OE fault. The repairman says it was our disposal. However, the plumber says the pump motor is not working properly

Asked by: Steveo63
We regret the trouble you have experienced with this dishwasher. According to page 29 of the owner’s manual, the OE error code denotes a drainage problem, most typically due to clogged filters. It is recommended to check the bottom of the wash tub to see if there are any obstructions or clogs that might be removed.

Dishwasher didn't finish draining the final rinse. How do I access the drain screen filter? My product no. is 3858ED3006B

Asked by: Mickey007
We regret the trouble you have experienced with this dishwasher. The drain filter screen is open, below the lowest spray arm. An image of the entire filtration system can be seen on Page 7 of your owner’s manual. The mesh filter should be removable so as to be cleared.

wht are the three wires black , white green and white

help
Asked by: randy5858
We appreciate your interest in this dishwasher. The three wires correspond to three wires in your electrical junction box. The BLACK wire should be a hot, 120V electrical line. The GREEN wire is a grounding wire. Match the white to its corresponding white line as well. If you are uncertain on such connections, it may be recommended to obtain the assistance of a professional installer or electrician. If you have additional questions, please contact our Customer Interactive Center at 800-243-0000.

What brand of dishwashing detergent do you recommend using?

I just had model LDF7551WW installed yesterday. I have Finish Powerball Tabs. Will those work well with this product, or should I be using a powder or liquid detergent? Thanks.
Asked by: SunnyMB
That is what was recommended and that is what we use. We've only had our dishwasher 3 months but they seem to work really well. I'm not sure if it is necessary but I get the regular packages and then I also get a package with the baking soda in them and use that kind about every third wash cylce, maybe it will help to keep it fresh? It's good for keeping everything else fresh, so I figured why not. We haven't had any problems with them, our dishes always come out clean. Hope this helps!

Repeatedly press the rinse button until the desired rinse options display. The sanitary rinse indicator is a thermometer with 160 F written next to it. The extra rinse indicator is an "R+". Hope this helps.
