Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great for a year I have had this for going on two year now. At the 13 month Mark right out of warranty started getting and e13 error. Followed all instructions and had the problem intermittently for a few months. Then paid LG to come fix. They had to replace, told seemed to be faulty design. 3 months since pricy replacement of pump, getting the error again. I paid a premium for the Eco efficiency but now I am paying an out rageous premium just to keep it working. I would expect a recall or I just have really bad luck?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from 1 star because 0 isn't an option This dryer is garbage - the ecohybrid is a joke. Basically, what it means is that it will NEVER completely dry a load of laundry. I've had it worked on already and was told that the only way to get a load actually DRY is to override the system and use the manual setting.

Model: DLHX4072V Is it ventless? Can I plug in 110V?

The ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 7.3 cu. ft. Ultra Large Capacity Dryer with EcoHybrid™ Technology, Model # DLHX4072V is not ventless and has to be vented. It has its own terminal block that must be connected to a separate 240 VAC, 60 Hertz, single-phase circuit, fused at 30 amperes. The circuit must be fused on both sides of the line...^IFV

Can this dryer run ventless as long as you never use the "quick/hot" settings? I assume if it's running on "eco" mode only it presumable could exhaust into the house just like any other ventless dryer?

I bought the service manual for this dryer partly to answer this question. The answer is no, it can not operate without a vent. Air is drawn in from the laundry room and blown out the vent in all modes of operation. I expect that vented air will be humid even when run in Eco mode. Ventless dryers would recirculate the humid air repeatedly until all water condensed out of it into the drain pan, but this dryer wasn't designed to do that in any mode. If you vent it into your laundry room, you will eventually get mold growing in the walls due to the water in the vented air.

We own a Sensor Dry DLE2301R dryer for 6 yrs now. Six weeks ago it would not work and the repair person installed a new computer panel   Now it won't turn on again and the repair person came over and stated that the panel has no warranty?  Contact LG

We regret the trouble you have experienced with this dryer. Parts purchased from LG’s parts department, and installed by an Authorized LG Service Technician, carry a 90-day part warranty for any failures caused by the manufacturing of the part itself. However, if the tech obtained the part from a 3rd party distributor, LG will have no control over the available warranty.

Is the Height and Depth of this product switched? Are the washer and dryer 30 inches Tall/High ? ?

I have a spot for a new washer dryer that is 60 wide (left to right) 40 deep (front to back) and 38 1/2 tall (bottom to top). I really like the LG but I didn't think it fit when I measured it in the store. However this model fits based on measurements you give. But I think you have the height and depth confused. What are the correct measurements? These are the dimensions on your web page: Product: 27" x 30" x 39" (51" D with door open) Carton: 29 1/2" x 31" x 43" Weight: 167.5 lbs/171.3 lbs

Luckily I read the answer from Burk and checked the installation instructions. I did have to cancel the pedestal and side kick order because they would be too tall to fit my space using the correct 39" height. Glad I didn't have to wait until delivery to find that out. Even the owner's manual has the height and depth switched but the installation instructions show the height needed to stack them or place in a cabinet which confirmed that they had the dimensions switched. I think LG Joel must have just read the manual rather than get out a tape measure. Since this is new and quite expensive they aren't going to sell many if they don't figure out why their posted washer and dryer dimensions would never match up or fit the pedestal or side kick.
