What People Are Saying

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Exciting New Product New Mobile DTV signals are being introduced, in most large Cities. Some areas slower than others. LG should offer a USB plug in ATSC tuner as an option, or include it. The Mobile DTV signal penetrates buildings better than standard DTV. Far less dropped signal also.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from DP570MH Review The DP570MH is a nice little DVD/CD and USB player but it falls far short on the over the air TV side. It only has an ATSC-M/H tuner which will not receive any of the normal DTV channels. Why LG decided to exclude all of the DTV channels is anyones guess but it severly limits the capabilities of the unit. Not all content that is on the DTV channels will be also transmitted on the MDTV channels. And I'm certain that not all potential viewing for this device would be while in motion.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from No channels It doesn't receive any of the test channels in the San Francisco area. Nor does it receive any channels from our mobile DTV signal generator...

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Mobil DTV Portable DVD Player with Mobil DTV: This product has not picked up a single TV Station. I called customer Service about the issue and was told the service was not avilable in Virginia Beach, yet all TV Stations here broadcast in digital tv. I drove to Massena N.Y on a recent vacation and at every pit stop I tried the UNIT. Never did pick up a TV Signal. Very unhappy with this unit. Don't be fooled by the video LG uses to promote this unit about video on the go.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid product I have been very pleased with the product, both video and audio. The one minor issue is that when travelling in a vehicle with road noise, the volume setting on high is marginal, but that may actually be good to protect the hearing.

According to our documentation, this player does not have any form of video input available. As such, it will not be possible to connect a standard DVD player to it.

Does the DPS750MH receieve plain old ATSC or the newest MH signals?

Regular ATSC signals do not work while moving while the latest MH signals will. Does the LG player receive MH, and if so, is it MH only?
Asked by: Sid
The tuner that is built into this player is for the ATSC-M/H signal only. The purpose for this is that the standard ATSC broadcasts are not robust enough to operate with a mobile antenna.

Is there a Radio Control DVD available?

I have a TV hanging on the wall. I want to hook up a DVD player to it and I would like to put the DVD player in a cabinet so I don't have to hang it on the wall. Then I want to be able to access the DVD player via radio control. Is that technology out there yet? If so, who makes it and where can I purchase it?

May we suggest our Wireless Media Kit? You can connect all your devices to the kit and it will send a Full HD signal to the TV wirelessly. No messy wires.
