Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Monitor! Has worked flawlessly with fast redraw speed. I really love being able to have two full pages side by side to edit at the same time, and I can read the whole page at once, clearly! Next project: afford a matching monitor ...

27EA33, 2nd of dual display system. Has started flashing every 2-3 seconds. When INPUT button is pressed, says Dual Smart Solution needs to be installed. Tried DVI and HDMI cables. Same cables work on other monitor. What can I do?

Asked by: rfguy
If the monitor is connected to a laptop and it says Dual Smart Solution needs to be installed, press Windows key + P key at the same time and choose Second Screen only. If that does not work, please give us a ring at 1-800-243-0000. ^AC

How would one go about disabling the annoying dynamic contrast feature on this monitor? I've scoured the menus and leafed through the manual, but can't find anything.

Asked by: Browningate
The dynamic contrast cannot be disabled since that is a feature built-in on the monitor screen. ^AC

Monitor won't display anything

I connect using a DVI cable straight to the video card. Every time I turn on my computer it loads up normally but the one thing is that my monitor will not display anything. It reads that there is a DVI cable plugged into the computer because when I remove it. The monitor says to plug a cable in. There would be times where it would load but it would only be chance. Now it doesn't load at all.

How do I adjust display to fit screen on my LG 27EA33V 27" Monitor?

Icons are almost off screen at top and desktop picture is about 3/4" above the bottom of the screen on the bottom of monitor.
Asked by: primelife1
We regret the inconvenience you have experienced with this monitor. If the image has crossed the boundaries of the screen itself, then it likely that a resolution and refresh rate setting needs to be adjusted on the computer. The recommended mode should be 1920x1080 at 60Hz. If the unit continues to have difficulty, please contact our Customer Interactive Center at 800-243-0000.

how to adjust the monitors angle

The installation guide simply says adjust the angle by moving the monitor by hand. I did that but there seems to be no mechanism that holds that angle and the monitor simple falls down to its lowest position?
Asked by: Guod
We regret the inconvenience you have experienced with this monitor. This unit is designed to simply tilt forward or back based on where it is moved by hand. There are no extra mechanisms available to hold the screen in place.

Is this a glossy monitor? Or is it a matte finish?

Asked by: AdoptedMike
There are a few places on the plastic housing that are shiny, but the screen itself and the front-facing housing are matte. No reflections.
