Rated 3 out of 5 by from good has some quirks the extra desktop space is great and being able to set zones on the monitor allows for a better workflow. leave the monitor to go to sleep, cause turning it off causes the workflow zones to be reset every gd time. Then there a weird power over heat issue, and the Bluetooth audio is not happy

Nada …. terribly disappointing because up to then it was great… I make it a practice not to buy consecutively from the same manufacturer or supplier after getting burned.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Dual Computer Input I purchased this monitor because I was working out of two different computers cohesively. I love the size and functionality. I wish the KVM was a hardware one instead. I have not been able to download the software needed for the onscreen management and KVM switch management to toggle between computers with one mouse and one keyboard. Things to note - KVM switch is software based and requires software to be downloaded to both computers. PIP hardware - software is not needed to display two different computers at the same time. Speakers - good quality speakers, however sound only seems to work on the USB C connection, not the HDMI. (Workaround is connecting second computer via Bluetooth.) No Mic - I bought a webcam and use this for the mic and camera. USB Plugs - they seem a little wonky and this worries me a little. Definitely must be gentle when connecting and disconnecting cables. Overall, I love my monitor and would recommend.

does this monitor comes with anti glare coating?

I have a few of these for the office.  The preferred EDID is 3840 x 1600p @ 75Hz, also can have 4096 x 2160p @ 100Hz and  4096 x 2160p @ 50Hz which my PC is picking up instead.  Is this an error in the EDID? (I don't think this model support this?)

The LG 38'' Class 21:9 UltraWide® WQHD+ IPS Curved LED Monitor (37.5'' Diagonal), Model # 38UC99-W has a native resolution of 3840 x 1600 and a refresh rate of 60 Hz / 75Hz with Display Port with FreeSync, so it is probably an error with the EDID since the monitor does not support 4096 x 2160p @ 100Hz or 4096 x 2160p @ 50Hz.. You may need to add a custom extension block, for the drivers for your Graphics card to recognize the custom EDID. Contact your PC's manufacturer for advice. You may also be able to go into the properties for the display and un-tick EDID and select the correct resolution and refresh rate for the screen. It should then have all the correct resolutions listed in the manual...^IFV

Will this work with ChromeOS?

The LG 38'' Class 21:9 UltraWide® WQHD+ IPS Curved LED Monitor (37.5'' Diagonal), Model # 38UC99-W is a Plug 'N' Play monitor and it has a DisplayPort (version 1.2) and 2 x HDMI ports (Version 2.0) for connectivity. It has a resolution of 3840 x 2160 so if the GPU in your unit has the right connectivity or can connect with adapters and it supports the monitor's resolution, it will work...^IFV

Why, for years, does the onscreen control keep crashing in windows 10? It randomly ALWAYS crashes and I have to either restart my PC. I'm using the latest software. I'm a tech so I've tried several things from reinstalling to cussing at the monitor.

Is there way to switch input port from the on screen control program? The joy stick is a pain when needing to go back and forth between 2 computers often.

Regrettably, OnScreen Control features Screen Split, Monitor Setting, My Application Preset and Game Mode Setting, doesn't have an Input Select that you can use to toggle between two external sources. The monitor supports Picture by Picture (PBP) where you can split the screen in half and designate one screen as the Main Screen and the other as the Sub screen and although you can toggle between Main and Sub screens using the Main/Sub Screen Change you still need to use the joystick to access that. The Monitor also has an Auto Input Switch which when set to On, will automatically switch the display to a new input when connected. ^AC
