What people are saying

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simply suitable I wanted something a little less extravagant but nice and this suits the purpose

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love it but... I love everything about this fridge...the size, the sparkle, the shelves, the storage. It looks great and it works great. However....I wanted the doors mounted on the other side to work with my kitchen layout. When the installer went to change them he found that there were no holes for the hinges on the other side. Sears couldn't find me another one. So close to perfection.

My LTCS20120W refrigerator rolls forward when I open the doors, is there a way to lock the wheels? (It does roll really easily which is nice when you want to pull it out for cleaning, but not desirable every time you open the door)

Asked by: Frosty99
There is not a wheel lock for this refrigerator. The front should be slightly taller than the rear to ensure that the doors close properly. The leveling screws can easily be turned by slightly tilting the front of the refrigerator, turning the leveling screws clockwise to raise it and counter-clockwise to lower it. Does a 2 liter bottle fit in the door bin?

Asked by: Frosty99
The two-liter bottle is a common container for soft drinks, beers, and wine. It has a height of 12.9 inches and a diameter of 4.1 inches so it will fit easily in the dorr bins for the ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 20 cu. ft. Top-Freezer Refrigerator, Model # LTCS20120W...^IFV

The energy consumption in the spec sheet states 430 kWh/year but Energy Guide label states 387 kWh/year. Which is correct? I will not be using an ice maker if that makes a difference.

Asked by: JackieC
Thank you for alerting us to that. The Energy Star site has the Annual Energy Use for the ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 20 cu. ft. Top Freezer Refrigerator, Model # LTCS10120WS listed as 387kWh as it is listed on the Energy Guide label and is the correct listing. The 430 kWh is the U.S. Federal Standard which is the maximum energy consumption in kWh/year allowed by the U.S. Department of Energy for a refrigerator of this particular configuration and size...^IFV

Is this refrigerator garage ready? I can't seem to find that indicated any place or even if you have any when I search on your LG site

Asked by: TomEla
Hi TomEla. We don't list any of our refrigerator's as being 'garage ready'. This ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 20 cu. ft. Top Freezer Refrigerator, Model # LTCS20120W should be installed in an area between 55 °F (13 °C) and 110 °F (43 °C). If the surrounding temperature is lower or higher than previously mentioned, it can adversely affect the unit. The best refrigerator for a garage will depend on the temperature in the garage. The main problem with installing a refrigerator in a garage is that if the garage is not insulated, it is susceptible to the drastic temperature changes of the seasons. Most refrigerators are designed to work inside a home, where we tend to keep the temperature moderate. Out in your uninsulated garage, however, temperatures can fluctuate from sub-freezing temperatures to blistering heat, depending on the climate you live in. When it's particularly hot, say 100ºF or higher, your fridge will have to work extra hard to keep everything in it cold. This will result in extra wear and tear on compressor and other components and may result in a shorter lifespan. In the other extreme, when temperatures go below 38ºF — especially below freezing temperature (32ºF) — the fridge may not even do any work at all. Which might lead to the freezer section thawing out, and other problems...^IFV
