You can set up a password to restrict access to specific features, including channels, apps and inputs.
To use this feature, you must first enable the Lock feature in the Safety menu (see the section titled "How to Enable or Disable the Lock Feature").
You can also disable the Lock feature from the same menu.
The default password can be found in the product user manual.

[webOS23/ 22/ 6.0] released before 2023: Press remote control Settings [] button → [All Settings] → [General] → [System] → [Safety] → [Enable]
[webOS5.0 or earlier] released before 2020: Press remote control Settings []button → [All Settings] → [General] → [Safety] → [Enable]

How to enable Lock feature on [webOS24/ 25] models released in 2024 or later
Press remote control Settings [] button → All Settings[
] → [General] → [System] → [Safety]→ [Enable the function]
1. Press remote control Settings [] button → Select All Settings[
].
2. Select the [General] tab, then [System].
3. Select [Safety] menu.
4. Select [Enable the function] and toggle it on.
5. Enter the password.

Use the Channel Lock feature to restrict access to certain content that may be inappropriate for children.
When a channel is locked, it can still be selected, but there will be no sound or picture output.
To unlock the channel, you will need to enter a password.
1. Select [Channel Locks].
2. Enter the password.
The default password is in the user manual.
3. Once you have entered the Edit All Channels page, you can select channels to lock or unlock.
Apps can be locked or unlocked. An app will not be locked immediately if it is currently running.
1. Select [Application Locks].
2. Enter the password.
The default password is in the user manual.
3. Select the app(s) you wish to lock.
Inputs can be locked or unlocked.
1. Select [Input Locks].
2. Enter the password.
The default password is in the user manual.
3. Select input(s) to lock.
