Let's find out more.
The Steam function pre-treats your laundry with steam before the main wash cycle begins, helping to loosen stubborn stains for a more effective clean.
A small amount of water is added and heated at the bottom of the washer to create steam. This heating process adds time to the total wash cycle.
After heating, the washer fills to the selected water level and begins the main wash.
For best results, use the Steam function with the Sanitary 40°C or Allergy 60°C cycle.
For faster heating and shorter wash times, connect both the cold and hot water hoses to your washing machine. Using only the cold water hose will increase the heating time.
Try this.
Selecting Steam
Press the Steam button to select the Steam option.
The button will illuminate when Steam is selected.
Steam can be selected with Normal, Safe Normal, and Sanitary 40°C cycles. (It is automatically selected with the Allergy 60°C cycle.)
Because the steam is generated at the bottom of the drum with the door closed, it may not be visible.
This is normal for steam generation.
