LG Combo units operate slightly different from their stand alone counterparts. The wash cycle remains unchanged for the most part, but there are some differences with the drying process. A few things to check to try and resolve the unit not drying are:
Water is needed in order for a combo model washer to perform the dry function. This is completely different from how a standard dryer would work. With a LG combo unit, cold water is used to condense the moisture in the air. If water is not supplied to the unit, the clothes will not be dried. The water taps should be fully open.
The capacity for drying is smaller than it is for washing. If you are washing a full sized load, the drying capacity is half of that. If you place too much clothing in one load when washing, reduce the load size for drying.
If the clothes come out warm but still wet, this signals that your unit is heating, just not effectively drying the clothes. Clean the drain pump filter at the bottom left of your unit. Refer to your Owner's Manual for more information on cleaning the drain pump filter.
