  • Water leaking on the floor. Front Loading Washer.

  • Do you see any signs of leaking around the appliance or on the floor?

  • Using the simple self-check method, you can determine whether the leaking is due to a problem

    • Product problems: Warranty

    • Non product problems: Out of warranty (Boiler leak, Plumbing leak)

  • With the appliance or whether it is due to external factors.

  • If the problem is an external one, you will have to pay for service even during the warranty period.

  • Therefore, it is important that you conduct a self-check before requesting service.

  • If the problem is internal to the product, leakage will occur every time the washing machine is run.

  • Therefore, you can easily identify this problem by performing a self-check test.

  • Run the Rinse + Spin course to check whether leakage occurs.

  • The absence of leakage means that there is no problem with the product and it can safely be used.

    • Simple connection defects can be remedied by simply reconnecting.

  • If there is leakage, figure out what part is leaking and take the appropriate measures according to the measures for each part.

  • Is the leakage happening at the inlet-hose or water faucet? If there is leakage happening around the faucet, contact a plumbing professional to come repair it.

  • Is the inlet-hose's connecting part loosely connected?

  • If the inlet hose's tightening part is loose, reconnect the inlet hose.

  • Check whether there is a problem with the inlet hose's rubber packing.

  • If the rubber packing has a problem, leakage could occur after the inlet hose has been assembled.

  • You can purchase the inlet hose at Electronics stores. If there is no problem with the rubber packing, reconnect the inlet hose.

  • If there is a leak at the connector for the inlet hoses when installing the Twin-Wash washing machine, try connecting the connector again.

  • Leakage may occur if the drain hose is not properly affixed to the drain. Reattach the drain hose to the drain.

  • In the case of the Twin Wash washer, leakage can occur if the drain hose connector is not properly affixed. Properly affix the connector.

  • Is there leakage coming from the bottom part of the door?

  • Foreign substances can remain in the areas around the door glass and rubber packing and this could lead to tiny amounts of leakage.

  • Remove any foreign substances and clean the area regularly.

  • Make sure that any fabric is completely in the washer drum.

  • If part of a fabric is not completely inside the drum when the door is closed and the washer starts, the rubber packing could become damaged.

  • Is there leakage occurring from the ventilation duct in the rear of the appliance?

  • If you use more than the recommended amount of detergent or use non HE detergent, an excessive amount of foam could occur and leak out through the appliance's rear side.

  • Only use detergent designed for front-loading washer machine and check that you use the recommended amount for the appliance.

  • Compared with regular/drum dual-purpose detergents, drum washer-use detergent has been developed to specifically to perform effectively with drum-type washing machines.

  • Therefore, it is recommended that you use the appropriate detergent.

  • Is there leakage coming from the lower pump filter?

  • Leakage could occur if the pump filter is not properly attached after being cleaned.

  • Separate the pump filter and reattach it. Leakage could occur if the plug for the residual water drain hose is not assembled.

  • After cleaning the pump filter, make sure that the pump filter and residual water drain hose plug have been completely assembled.
