I was happy with my phone until mid December 2019. I began having problems with people hearing me. At the verizon store I was told the speaker wasn't working properly. Since it wasn't even 2 years old i began a claim with LG second year promise. Unfortunately, this was not a great experience. I had to go through things twice in order for them to process the claim. It finally was approved and im waiting for the return postage to be sent to me. Wish me luck!

Battery LifeEverything expected as a LG flagship. My only complain was battery life. Could be improve with a bigger battery. Also, auto brightness isn't bright enough. Must turn up manually in darker environment but I think it's software related. After a few days, battery suddently went south. From 100% to 70% overnight with nothing on and cleared all apps and background. Finally a factory reset fixed that problem for now. This's also software related issue.

LG family hereI started out with the LG G4, my family and I have had several LG phones since. After reading a lot about the LG G8 thinq I decided it had the features I was looking for and since I got it with a BOGO deal I got one for my son too! The quality seems to be very high. The battery lasts quite a long time. The screen looks amazing and is very bright. I love the fact that this phone has a headphone jack and an SD card slot.

Great features!I bought this just before Thanksgiving and I am very happy with this phone. Coming from the LG G6 this was an easy segue. Except this has much better features. Love the time display when it's in locked state...don't have to constantly swipe to see it. Also, the Google assist button is great. It has great speed and a really long battery life, which is a huge plus. Love the edge to edge screen- and it's just the right size for pockets and purses. All in all a really great phone!

Love My G8I've moved to LG Phones three years ago from Moto. I like the reliability,size, and ruggedness. I tend to be tough on everything and with a military grade case the LGs look brand new and never disappoint. I've never had to use the two year warranty but it's nice that LG at least will stand with their product unlike moto.. I like the product and will look into others from them

This is Such a Great Phone...This is such a great phone, I don't know why everyone doesn't know about it. I thought I'd take a chance on it as it was an Amazon Prime Exclusive phone. I'm so glad I did! It's fast. It's sharp. It's reliable. It lasts long. And beautiful, too. I've been happy with other LG products. Now I can add cell phones to the list. Love fast phone with fingerprint unlock.I have been using the phone for past 4 weeks. Being a technical person with knowledge of both electronics, and software, I did a fair amount of research before deciding to upgrade to LG v35. And I should tell, I don't regret. From my research, I found that this is the least expensive phone for the top of the line hardware specs you can currently get in the market. LG appears to provide upgrades to their top-line of phones relatively quickly. My phone came with Android 8 installed on it, and LG released Android 9 just a week ago for their unlocked version and I have it upgraded to it. So far my experience has been great with the phone.

ExelentI have always liked LG and preferred it over all brands and used LG phones for many years and I still use it. I currently have the LG v35 because my previous phone was an LGv30 but I gave it to my wife. They are wonderful phone and it is my favorite brand. and I'm saving for later to be able to buy the LG v40 or the V50 which is a dream for me that is still a bit impossible to achieve. LG is an excellent brand

Best YetBought this a month ago. Best LG I have owned out of LG G2, LG G4(3 of these), LG G6, now LG V30. I am more than happy. the processor is quick, voice recognition is good, speaker is excellent and it makes my wife's iphone 7plus seem antiquated. I will keep this a while, then opt for a V40 is the reviews are as good as this one.Sweepstakes entry received for review.

Fantastic phone!I bought mine when it first came out! It is by far the best sounding out there with headphones! The DAC really does create audiophile quality sound! The screen is lush, and even though it's a few years old it still very fast! It is certainly better than my new iPhone! The camera is very good and you can do all kinds of tweaking with your photos! I will probably buy the V50 or the dual screen V8

Great phone when it worked..Great features, excellent camera and battery.. Had issue with finger sensor and battery draining quickly...LG will be replacing, great customer svc.

Very easy to use!I bought this model only because I was in desperate need of a new phone! I'm a longtime user of LG smartphones and I think one other flip phone from years ago. I love all things LG but have only been a cellphone purchaser. I love this phone! It's fast and extremely easy to use! You kept a lot of the same features as the LG G series, for which I have had three different types G3, G4, and G5. But this V40 series is awesome. I had read some reviews about the V series phones and they weren't all ... read more that impressive but I read one on the V40 and I was excited about it. So thank you for making another solid phone for me!

Good phone, unfortunately battery doesn't last.I've had this phone for a year now and I can't complain about much..Other than the battery dying in about 18 hours without use...If I use it about 6-8 hours of use. That's really it, it sucks that the battery is so small especially when this is there top of the line phone where your paying $900+. Hopefully the v60 or whatever is after the v50 has a larger battery that can last with 15+ hours of use... C'mon LG! Don't let me down.. I've been a customer for years now.

Welcome back!We both have had LGs before but went over to PixelXL to try them out. Nice phones. Our phones served us well but we wanted to see what else was out there. The Verizon salesperson was very helpful and gave us the lowdown on all the features and that's when we decided to go for it!
