    Wonderful Tablet
This tablet was a special offer with purchase of LG phone, It seems to do the same things as my Kindle, put is much lighter in weigh. I like the idea of being able to match my phone to the tablet so it shows the same icons in the same places. Being able to use my data service on it is very helpful. A wonderful tablet to take along wherever you go.

Good Tablet,Quirky Interface between PC and Tablet
The Google Play version has a few quirks, but is a nice tablet that is fast and a good value. My biggest frustrations have been transferring music and pictures. The LG File share program will not work at all,it wont connect by wi-fi and will not work even with the USB. When I transferred music from the PC to the tab let it was also cumbersome, would only Sync instead of drop and drag, i wonder if this is due to it being a Google Play version? I used the tablet to store photos from my samsung ... read more Camera during my recent trip and for some reason there was no way to transfer to the memory card and all pic went into the device memory which filled up. When I got home,I also had a hard time moving the pictures to my PC. I could only do it by importing with Windows which meant that I got a Picture and a thumbnail. Oh well, maybe LG can fix the program? I may sell it and get a small hybrid PC instead.

    Best tablet I have had.
The screen on this tablet is by far the best I have owned. It is also built very nicely. I can only compare it to samsung galaxy note 8.0(2013) or to a Transformer TF 201, my other tablets where to old to compare to a tab that is less than a year old. Performance wise, it blows them both out of the water completely.. no contest. Screen resolution is by far better than both of those. Usability wise there no lag at all to touch screen. No tasks it can't handle. I can't say enough good about Google ... read more play editions either.. Completely awesome.

    Awesome Tablet
I am a huge consumer of LG products and this tablet is wonderful. LG products are my preferred manufacturer and I was impressed the quality of this tablet. The price was competitive and it is very user friendly. My children, 4 and 12 love this tablet. Thank you LG

    Nice hardware, not enough storage
I picked up this tablet on a T-Mobile promotion a few months ago and was pleasantly surprised. It has a nice 1080p IPS screen and snappy hardware that is plenty fast for everything I've done with the tablet (haven't noticed any slowdowns). Very few Android devices have a full-size USB port, and it works surprisingly well on this tablet. This port works with all USB devices (including mice and keyboards), not just USB drives. LG's software has NTFS support, so it didn't have any trouble ... read more reading and writing to any of my flash drives. The extra programmable button on the side defaults to toggling reading mode which is a nice feature by itself, but there's settings to change what the button does if you want something else. LTE reception was fine in all the places I've tried it, and having a vibration motor was a nice touch when receiving texts. The icing on the cake is that the T-Mobile version has a fully unlockable bootloader as well so it's easy to root and install custom roms if that's your thing. Unfortunately, LG cut a few corners with this device. There's no ambient light sensor so you'll have to adjust the brightness manually, and 16GB of storage should be outlawed in this day and age, especially on a tablet where you actually have a nice large screen to enjoy content (not to mention that with the bloated OS, the user only has access to about 9GB of that space). The tablet does have a microsd card slot, but LG has disabled adoptable storage. This was a very poor decision on their part, as it means that managing storage on this device is a major chore. At least there's an option to move some of the apps to the sd card. Like most mobile devices, this tablet unfortunately is glued together. I had it glitch and go into some kind of diagnostics mode once when I connected a flaky USB cable, and the only way to get it out of that was to pry the device apart enough to unplug the battery connector from the mainboard. Was NOT happy to find the back panel was glued on. Overall, I'm satisfied with this purchase, but I'm disappointed in LG's decision to only put 16GB of storage in this device and then choose to disable adoptable storage.

    Lightweight pretty easy to handle
I bought this for myself a few months ago I'm a disabled person with severe hearing problems I bought it mostly to keep in touch with family in other states through Facebook. I've been trying to watch shows on YouTube and Netflix a friend of mine told me but you can connect this Tablet to my TV using a USB cords I have those cords and my TV is compatible for such use. I tried this last night because I really wanted to watch a movie that my sister told me about on YouTube the tablet wasn't quite ... read more loud enough for me to hear so I wanted to connected to my TV. Can somebody please tell me how to do this properly? My TV does not have Wi-Fi but my tablet does and it also has USB port on the TV and I have the cord that connects from tablet to TV

    Great tablet for the price
I spent a lot of time reading reviews including consumer reports and settled on this tablet for my son. It has lived up the the ratings I reviewed. It has really good video for movies. My son plays a lot of games on the tablet and have seen no issues with game quality. If you own a LG phone the setup on the tablet is exactly the same. It is easy to use and set up. I have been so impressed I will likely be buying one for myself

Its been out standing. .... good job LG
I have enjoyed this tablet since day one.Its quick performs as well as my sons tab 4 if not better. Not a single problem. ... Touch screen does well just remember to get a case or jacket for it. I have heard the screen is a bit fragile. But I have dropped my tab a few times with the cover on... Still no problems and after 9 months of daily use its look like new thanks to its cover.

    A tablet, not a computer
I know it's a tablet, not a computer but some people need bigger screen sometimes or want to see their screen on TV. This tablet doesn't do that. I can connect HDMI cable to my smartphone's universal micro USB in/out port but I can't do this with this tablet. Besides this, I like it a lot. I used three different adapters allowing connection to HDMI, all of them powered, but none of them worked. I guess this tablet doesn't send HDMI signal out.

Great performance at the right size!
Bought this as a good deal on an Android tablet that wasn't an Amazon Fire and haven't been disappointed. Great for all my "bigger than a phone" needs including surfing, social media and streaming videos. It's so good that my wife has adopted it as her own!

    Great Tablet
I got this tablet almost a year ago on September 18, 2015 and it is one the best tablets I've used. I only had an iPad 1st Generation which was primarily used for music and some internet browsing until I got this I only use the iPad for music only. I can internet browse easily without getting booted because the iPad can't get the latest updates to its software. I use it to watch Netflix, YouTube, VUDU movie collections I have, Flixster Movie collections and Amazon Instant Video. The resolution ... read more is great as long as I have a strong Wi-Fi connection so I'd definitely recommend this tablet easily to anyone looking for one that isn't too expensive and works efficiently without ever having issues and has a much bigger screen size which is preferable when I want to use any of the streaming apps I mentioned to watch movies, TV, or my film collection.

    V20 And now want v30
Love the LG Support and fast fixes and getting updates out. Camera is wonderful taking clear shots in light and could be improved for night pictures. Video at night works good with flash on though. Now I wish I had money to pay off the v20 and pick up the v30. Luv my LG 4k tv

    Best tablet I've ever had!
This is the best tablet I've ever had. Beautiful display and great specs at a good price. I asked a local repair tech and he told me LG and two other brands were much better for reliability and quality. I have an LG G3 so I'm familiar with their products.

The right size for my old eyes
I have had the tablet for over a month and I have found absolutely nothing in the con arena and a lot on the PRO side. Great picture and it works with my LG smart phone and is friendly to my HP Laptop with win-10. I have instant access to my email and Facebook, while my PC is still booting up. A very good replacement for the PC.

    Very convenient.
Have a smaller lg . like this one even more. Synchs to my tv. Great for running YouTube on the kitchen counter with a folding front cover. Would like to see a little more versatile dual screen function. Held up well. Battery length acceptable. Little louder speaker would be nice at times.

Confused about what everyone is talking about
I have owned my LG 8.0 since September 2016! And it definitely doesn't run Lollipop. It runs Nougat 7.0 . I Love my Tablet. But this Lollipop OS is very Confusing. The only reason for 4 stars is the Sound system could use some improvement.
