To follow up on WISA Ready being the only difference between the C9 PUA and AUA model.  I am assuming that means that I will not be able to use the WISA dongle to output 8 channel audio to wireless speakers on my AUA? Thanks

Asked by: Emvq
That is correct. Since the LG C9 55 inch Class 4K Smart OLED TV w/AI ThinQ® (54.6'' Diag), Model # OLED55C9AUA is not a WiSA Ready model, the WiSA Dongle will not work to output 8-channel audio to WiSA Ready wireless speakers...^IFV

Whats the optimum viewing distance for LG Electronics - OLED77C9PUB TV.

Asked by: Arnob01
The Guidelines from the Society of Motion Picture & Television Engineers recommends sitting at a distance where the screen fills up about 30° of your field of vision as a minimum for a good experience. This generally provides good guidance, but users that use their TVs mostly for watching movies might benefit from sitting a bit closer to get a more theater-like. The SMPTE "reference" position for movie theaters and the THX recommendation is about 40°. The minimum angle of vision works well for most usages though and sitting at a distance where the screen fills 30° of your horizontal field of view should be comfortable for most people. The Recommended Mixed Usage Distance (30°) for an 80" screen which is the closest to the LG C9 77 inch Class 4K Smart OLED TV w/ AI ThinQ® (76.7'' Diag), Model # OLED77C9PUA by screen size is 10.9' (3.31 m) and the Recommended Cinema Distance (40°) for an 80" is 8' (2.44 m)...^IFV
