What people are saying

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent picture for Netflix et al and Spectrum Had it 3 yrs now and i like it even more. Very rich, deep blacks and very good color tone, if time is taken to adjust it carefully. just saw Two Popes in 4k and the reds, really alll the colors, are stunning but not over boosted. i don't care for the red dot remote but I use a Logitech so.... i paid a lot for it but it's soo good.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Phenomenal picture! The picture on this OLED is terrific. However, the unit will not allow Echo/Alexa integration. To communicate with the Echo, OS4 is needed, this unit only comes with OS3***.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great TV and Picture! Had the TV about ywo weeks now. Easy set up and love its design. So far all good, but bit concerned as my friend has same OLED 55" TV and after 2 years is experiencing image burn in. He too loves the TV and picture quality and in fact was the one who recommended the LG TV to me. Was out of warrnty but he called LG. They agreed to address the "burn in issue" and stated they'd repace the panel.. Thats very reassurning that LG stands behind their products!

How do I change the name of an HDMI port on a model OLED55E7P LfG TV?  I have a port that was previously used for an Amazon fire and is now used for a ROKU.  The port still displays itself as "Amazon" on the bottom of the screen

Asked by: myronted
To change the name of the input on your OLED TV: You first click on the inputs icon button on the remote control, just below the wheel. Then you go down to the bottom of the list that appears on the TV, on the right, and select “all inputs”. When “inputs” screen comes up, you select one of the active inputs on the left, then select “input label” on the right and you can change the label. I am in Ireland and I am wondering is there a difference between the E7P and the E7N

Asked by: Liammcc
The LG E7 OLED 4K HDR Smart TV - 55" Class (54.6" Diag), Model # OLED55E7P or any of the E7P series OLEDS are models that are released and sold in the U.S. and will have built-in tuners (ATSC, NTSC and QAM) that are compatible with the Television Broadcast Systems that are used in the U.S. In Ireland and the U.K. the Television Broadcast System is different from the one used in the U.S. and is not compatible so TVs that are meant for those markets will include built-in tuners that are compatible with the systems used there. We do not have information on the E7N series TVs here in the U.S., but the letter at the end of the model number identifies what type of tuner is in the TV and the E7N series TVs will have DVB-T2, DVB-C (MPEG2), and DVB-S2 tuners in them. For other differences, you would need to contact the LG Support in the UK/Ireland, http://www.lg.com/uk, Tel # 01-686-9454...^IFV

If within the factory warranty burn in or any panel distortion occurs would LG(the manufacturer) repair or exchange the warranted item?? Oh and purchase of sale is LG direct and not from third party vendors.

Asked by: Apache Jack
LG's TV warranty covers the product in the event of a defect in materials or workmanship. If the manufacturer agrees that there is a defect and said defect was reported within the allowed time period – from when the television was purchased – it will either repair your product with new or refurbished parts, or replace it with a new or refurbished product. That decision is made by the manufacturer at its own discretion. You will also need to present your original receipt or proof a purchase to validate the date of purchase. As detailed in LG's Limited Warranty for TVs that also includes the LG E7 OLED 4K HDR Smart TV - 55" Class (54.6" Diag), Model # OLED55E7P, the TV will be "repaired or replaced, at LG’s option, if it proves to be defective in material or workmanship under normal use, during the warranty period ("Warranty Period") listed below, effective from the date ("Date of Purchase") of original consumer purchase of the unit. This warranty is good only to the original purchaser of the unit and effective only when used in the United States, excluding U.S. Territories." The Limited Warranty does not apply to: • damage caused in shipping or transit • service required as a result of improper installation, including Incorrect or insufficient AC Supply (please consult the owner’s manual for power supply requirements). • installation or repair of antenna systems, cable converters, cable Company supplied equipment, or other components in a video system • set-up or adjustment on consumer controls, or damage caused by improper adjustments • damage caused by other system components • any unit that has been Modified or incorporated into any other unit. • replacement of batteries on the remote control • damage (including cosmetic damage), failure, loss or personal injury due to misuse, abuse, negligence, improper maintenance or storage, or to acts of nature or other causes beyond our control. (Causes beyond our control include but are not limited to lightning strike, power surges, power outages and water damage.) • image burn-in or image retention • repair or replacement of warranted parts by other than an LG authorized Service centers. • units purchased or serviced outside of the U.S.A. • units where the original factory serial numbers have been removed, defaced or changed in any way. • units sold and labeled as “as is, where is” or similar disclaimer.
