Rated 2 out of 5 by from was great at first so i have owned my tv for going on two years now and right after one year i noticed some sever image burning on the screen. the loading screen for netflix and hulu have caused a permanent image burn in the screen. this is super disappointing due to the cost of the tv. i called tech support and they said the tv has a screen clearing feature which i tried but no luck. the issue has gotten much worse over the past year. i would not recommend this tv if you want all your colors to be consistent. i cannot wait until i am ready to purchase another tv which will not be LG.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great TV with only slight issues This is my second LG OLED, I have the 55 in my house and purchased the 65 for my parents. I am still enjoying two Pioneer Plasma’s I have owned for a very long time as picture quality is the most important feature to me. The OLEDs are definitely superior to the older plasmas in every respect (granted they should be as the plasmas are 10+ years old). The one issue with the LG’s is the software, this could be greatly improved. The layering of the menus is overly complex.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Picture Picture is so good, I hardly ever had to mess with Picture settings. Blacks are deep, color is acurate, shadow detail is beyound what I have seen before. Looks elegant, but seems a little fragile to move much...very thin. Complaints are minor. I wish the Info button and Picture mode buttons were direct and faster to get to instead of being buried inside another menu.

`refresh ratio for tv webos tv oled 65b6p

Asked by: fido7777
All our OLED TVs, including the LG B6 OLED 4K HDR Smart TV - 65'' Class (64.5'' Diag), Model # OLED65B6P have a native 120Hz panel & OLED panels are capable of a refresh rate of as low as 0.001ms, which for reference, is around 1,000 times faster than a standard LED-backlit LCD panel, while also being superior to the now-discontinued plasma tech, too...^IFV

My OLED65B6P has a burned channel tag on the picture! Happened within a year of owning the thing. the remote control white lettering has also been erased for the buttons and I have no clue what the buttons are for. So disappointing! Any fixes!

My PC is plugged into B6P with 2.2 HDMI cable (4k 60fps). When I turn my game to any resolution above 1080p with Vsync, FPS is capped to 30. Does this T.V. support > 30FPS @ > resolutions 1080p? If so, what am I doing wrong? I have it in game mode.

Asked by: Sohnsat
I think Amber missed your question. The 2016 LG OLED models do not support frame rates above 30fps for the 2160p modes. Your console is properly adjusting for this.

When is the patch coming to fix the issues with Dolby vision black levels for the B6 series?

Asked by: Gman1031
Hi Gman1031. The LG B6 OLED 4K HDR Smart TV - 65" Class (64.5" Diag), Model # OLED65B6P and all our OLEDS will soon receive an update that addresses that issue. Regrettably we don't have a date yet as we are currently doing some internal testing for the fix. Dolby admitted at CES in January that there has been an issue with playing Dolby Vision sources over HDMI that finds black levels suddenly reducing dramatically with certain dark scenes content. LG has been diligently working with Dolby to address the issue and confirmed during a conference on LG's 2018 TVs in Madrid, on March 21, that LG has received a second profile update from Dolby that’s designed to resolve the remaining issues with playing Dolby Vision over HDMI....^IFV
