Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent design, easy to setup and start using. Our main a/c failed us at the end of May. We have a service contract for it but the service technician would not be here until two weeks later. We decided to get the portable a/c unit to use till the service technician arrived. He did show up BUT the fan motor bearing were bad and he had to order a new motor. Two weeks later the motor shows up and the service technician arrived. He installed the new motor and in doing so he broke the fan blade. Again two weeks go by and the fan blade arrived , GREAT!! BUT the service technician will not arrive for another week. We have had temperatures in the middle 90’s with high humidity since June 1st and the technician is to be here July 16th. To tell you the truth this portable a/c unit has blessed our family for the last 6 weeks. Needless to say the best thing we’ve done!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not portable It seems like the whole premise of this machine is to be able to move it from room to room as needed. I can't comprehend how such an advanced piece of technology could have such a poor venting solution. It comes with an adhesive foam for an air tight seal that instructs you to stick to the sash/frame of the window, not the panel itself? So what do I have for the second window? Or better yet, when winter comes how do I remove this adhesive so I can actually close the window and later reuse? If you've ever worked with this stuff, removal is a mess... It feels very permanent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great airconditioner Very efficient, easy to install. A little heavy so it takes at least two people to carry. The only issue is that if you want to use the dry mode you need to have a draining pipe which is not included. I ordered it through the parts supplier.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Working Great, but Make Your Own Window Seal Kit Now we've seen temps in the 90s, I can review. All 3 of these units are doing a great job. The 2 units upstairs work a bit harder, hotter upstairs. The downstairs unit is cooling a large open floor plan very well with some extra fans to move the cool air. No need to empty condensate yet, but we only get 80% humidity here. Noise is less than a window fan, units are set to 65 F and running all the time. Exhaust hose plumbing, window seal, and good solid power receptacle are very important for best performance. And the the window kit provided with the unit is almost worthless, you need a woodshop to make your own window seal. Could this be your excuse to finally buy that tablesaw?
