What people are saying

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it ! I bough an AT&T LG Expression Plus 2 to replace a Motorola E6 Play. The LG is much more responsive, faster, and is overall provides a much better experience than the E6. I am particularly impressed with the LG keyboard. It is a real joy to use compared to Google Gboard. Thanks, LG !!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from NFC Feature I had the lg xpression plus which I loved. I purchased the plus 2 because it had a few more feautures, space and google assistant. Was very disappointed to find the xpressions plus 2 does not have the NFC feature which I use alot. I love this phone other than that.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from You get what you pay for Its not bad for the price. I bought mine about a month and a half ago, and already I'm planning an upgrade. The overall design of the phone is their best selling point. The plastic body is exceptionally decent for a mid range phone. I like the new design for the camera housing, as well as the 3.5mm headphone jack (you don't see that too often anymore). I do wish they would have included USB-C though, as that is something most Android devices are leaning toward anymore. The location of the speaker can cause an annoyance at times, but that isn't necessarily a turn off for me. The home button itself doesn't seem to work too often, but that could also be my error or that it's just faulty. My biggest irritation with this phone is the performance. I just think 2 GB of RAM isn't acceptable in a 2019 device. It can be painfully slow at times, not even able to do basic things. But I do admit that this is an amazing low to mid range device. Overall, I would spend a couple extra bucks and get a Stylo if that is an option. If not, this still isn't a terrible phone.

I changed my PIN on my LG Xpression plus 2, forgot the pin, it will not turn off until it's unlocked, it will reset but won't do a hard reset and start as new. What can I do? I'm at a loss...

Asked by: Lockedphone2020
Android used to have a way to bypass your PIN or password, but that feature was removed in Android 5.0. Unfortunately, this means there’s no built-in way to simply reset your pattern, PIN, or password and gain access to your phone or tablet. This does help provide additional protection to your data, however, attackers have no way of bypassing the passcode unless they actually know it. Android’s Smart Lock feature may be able to save you. For example, let’s say you’ve set up Smart Lock on your Android phone and have it automatically log in when it’s on your home Wi-Fi. You can take your phone to that home Wi-FI network and it will automatically unlock for you, even if you can’t remember the normal unlock code. The only other way will be for you to perform a factory reset but you'll have to give up on the data stored on your phone. A factory reset will wipe the phone's storage allowing you to set it up again from scratch. Most data on modern Android devices should just sync online so you can sign in with the same Google account and you’ll have access to your emails, contacts, apps, and practically everything else. You’ll then be able to set up a new unlock code. If you have Google’s Android Device Manager enabled, you can visit the Android Device Manager website and log in with the same Google account you use on that Android device. Select the device you’re locked out of and select “Erase” to remotely erase it. You’ll be able to set it up from scratch afterward — the lock code will be removed, but the device will also be wiped...^IFV
