  • Troubleshooting

Do you feel that the refrigerator is weak or powerful?

Causes and Symptoms

  • The refrigeration is weak.
  • Foods in the refrigerator are frozen.

Try this

The refrigerator is not cold at all or is not cold enough.

➔ Check if the temperature of the refrigerator is set too high.

If cold air in the refrigerator is weak, check if the temperature is set too high and change it if necessary.
The range of temperatures that you can set is from -15℃ to -23℃ for the freezer compartment, and from 1℃ to 7℃ for the fridge compartment.

freezer and fridge Temperature Control

➔ Ensure that the refrigerator door closing is not interfered with by food.

Built-in refrigerators generally have smaller depths than side-by-side refrigerators.
Accordingly, large food items protruding from the refrigerator shelf will interfere with doors closing securely letting cold air escape, leading to degraded refrigeration.
Check if the refrigerator door is closing properly.

Organize and close refrigerator shelves

The refrigerator is too cold.

➔ Check the temperature sensor.

If the temperature sensor cover of the refrigerator is interfered with by food, a malfunction may occur as a result of failed temperature sensing.
Check if there are foods around the temperature sensor.
