LG Refrigerator - Why Isn't My Freezer Cooling Properly?

  • Troubleshooting

Causes and Symptoms

  • There is a lot of dust at the back of the refrigerator.
  • As the weather gets hotter, the freezing feels weaker.

Foreign matter may enter the mechanical compartment at the bottom of the back of the refrigerator, resulting in poor freezing performance.
Freezing/refrigeration performance may be weak due to temperature increases caused by the accumulation of foreign matter around the mechanical compartment.

Try This

Remove foreign substances (insect carcasses/rotted grains/dust, etc.) to ensure good air circulation around the back of the refrigerator (mechanical compartment).

➔ Remove dust from the back cover using a vacuum cleaner.
