At a Glance
Software updates are released periodically for Network/Bluetooth enabled sound bars. These updates are used to fix bugs and, in some cases, enhance features of the device.
- This app can be downloaded from the App Store or Google Play Store.
- Updates will need to be performed via the LG Sound Bar app.
- To update or check software version, the sound bar must be registered in the app.
Try This
1Open the LG Sound Bar app.
If a new software version is available, a notification will appear in the app to begin downloading.
If no update is available, you can open [Settings] and turn on [Software Update Notification] to be notified when new software is released.
2Select Update
3The update will begin downloading and sending the update to the sound bar.
This process can take a few minutes to complete.
4[Download] will appear in the sound bar display during install.
5Once the download is complete, the sound bar will restart for the update to be installed. [M-Update] will appear in the display while the update is installing.
