What People Are Saying

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do Not Buy We bought this machine a few years ago and I have never been happy with it. The machine was purchased for the large load capacity but was a big disappointment. The machine inputs water based on weight, however; when removing clothes for dryer there are places the clothing items are not even wet. Please do not even attempt to remove some splashed on dirt (not ground in) because amount of water provided will not do it. I have called customer service several times but they are no help. Because the machine has “smart diagnosis” for use with smart phones their only answer is “it is working fine.” I have been told to wash smaller loads in my large capacity machine which I have tried and does not help. I have been told to make sure the clothes are not tangled. It’s a washing machine and they come out that way not go in. And I have been told to wash on the Bulky/Bedding cycle. That one actually works because it fills machine to capacity with water but totally renders useless the intent of a multi functioning machine that cost many more $$$ than its fewer functioning counterparts. Plus it gets out of balance constantly. All in all, I hate this machine. I feel like it cost way more to operate than they claim simply because I have to use the Bulk cycle with every load.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Washer worked great, until it didn't I bought this washer in 2014, it was amazing at first. About a year ago I had to switch all loads to heavy duty to avoid the UE error. That error would ensure a full day just to do a couple loads. Then a couple weeks ago I got the E6 error. I spent the money on a new clutch, took it to a repair shop and still no luck. What's the point of an error message if you still have to guess what's wrong? A little help here LG? I still need a washer and can't figure out this code. Or why I could only use heavy duty to avoid UE errors.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from keep getting the UE signal with every wash We bought the washer and matching dryer in August of 2014. The Dryer is fine the washer is terrible. It started getting the UE message about 2 years ago occasionally but now it is with every wash load. I spend an entire day doing three loads of laundry. I'm talking seven to eight hours because you have to constantly monitor it and straighten it out. We made sure it was level, couldn't be more level and it still gives us the UE message. We do the laundry the same as we always did. Defective maybe?

My Wt1101cw leaks during the final rinse and spin cycle. It looks like it may be from the white check valve where the drain hoses are connected. I checked the hoses and clamps and both are secure. Does not leak during wash cycle. Please advise, thank u

The hinge to the lid has broken for the den of time, having replaced it once before. Is this a design flaw?

Asked by: StixBailey
My lid hinge has cracked too. The right hand side developed a big crack and now has trouble locking. Looks like I have the same problem.

during the fill up and wash cycle, water is draining out the back of the washer. I traced it to what looks like an over flow. It is white plastic which circles the tub about an inch below the top. do you have a online manual or trouble shooting guide?

The washer adds time during rinse cycle. Occasionally will see ue error. We had the circuit board replaced and still doing it. Washer is never full when loaded and usually half full when clothes are wet. What am I doing wrong?
