LG USA SELECTED AS OFFICIAL TECHNOLOGY PROVIDER FOR 2020 DEMOCRATIC NATIONAL CONVENTION

MILWAUKEE, Sept. 1, 2020 – The 2020 Democratic National Convention Committee selected LG Electronics USA as Official Technology Provider for this year’s Aug. 17-20 virtual convention produced in Milwaukee. LG also was named the “Official 4K UHD TV” of the 2020 convention.
Under its agreement with the Democratic National Convention Committee, LG supplied 4K Ultra HD displays to support the Milwaukee-based video production of live speeches and pre-recorded segments from across the country. The 43- to 65- inch LG screens were at the heart of the convention’s multimedia control center in the Wisconsin Center in downtown Milwaukee. The control room was the convention’s nerve center for hundreds of feeds from all 50 states and the virtual hub for media coverage worldwide.
