LG CordZero Vacuum - Not Powering On

Did you press the [power] button, but the vacuum cleaner won't turn on?

If the battery level is low, the vacuum cleaner may not turn on.
Depending on the model, it takes about 3 to 9 hours to fully charge the battery, so make sure to charge it ahead of time.
Check if the battery is inserted incorrectly, the adapter is disconnected, or there is a foreign object in the charging port preventing charging.

Causes and Symptoms

  • The battery level is low.
  • The adapter is not connected to the charging station or the power cord is unplugged.
  • There are foreign objects stuck in the battery charging port.
  • The battery is discharged or used for a long time and it's time to replace it.

Try this

Did the vacuum cleaner stop working because it ran out of batteries, or does it stay turned off?
Is only one light in the battery status LED indicator turned on?

➔ Make sure to correctly insert the battery until you hear a clicking sound and then charge it before use.

How to charge the product body
① First, press the [Power] button to turn off the vacuum cleaner and attach it to the charging station.

③ Once the charging is completed, all the lights are lit.

How to charge the battery
① Press the buttons at the both ends of the battery to separate the battery from the vacuum cleaner.
Press the buttons on both sides of the battery and pull down to remove it.
② Insert the battery according to the shape of the charging station.
③ Once it starts charging, the battery indicator light blinks to indicate that charging has begun.
④ Once the charging is completed, all the indicator lights turn on.

Charge the vacuum cleaner indoors. Charging may not be possible if charged at temperatures below 5°C.
Also, the battery life may be shortened if used for a long time in temperatures below 5°C or above 38°C.

Is the adapter not plugged into the charging station or is the power cord unplugged?
Is the battery indicator light not lit?

➔ To charge a battery, the adapter and the power cord must be plugged in correctly.
Please check it before charging a battery.

If the adapter or power cord is disconnected from the charging station and there's no power supply, it won't charge properly.
You can insert the adapter on the back of the charging station, so make sure it’s plugged in properly.
Also, make sure the power cord of the adapter is plugged in properly as well.

Are there any foreign objects, such as dust or hair, on the charging port of the charging station or vacuum cleaner?

➔ Remove any foreign object as the charger may not be detected.

Wipe it with a dry towel or use a brush to remove any debris.
Be careful not to apply too much force to the charging port as it may be damaged.

Is it time to replace the battery?

➔ Batteries are consumables and have a limited lifespan, so replace them after a certain amount of use.

Even if the battery is fully charged, if the vacuum cleaner's usage time is too short, the battery has reached the end of its life.
