Is the wash cycle not progressing? Do the panel buttons chime when touched but not respond?
Causes
- Your dishwasher is not properly connected to a power source.
- Control lock (Child lock) is enabled.
- A wash cycle is being cancelled.
Try this
Is the dishwasher unresponsive to the [Power] button?
➔ Check the breaker box and make sure the circuit breaker is turned on.
If the dishwasher is used simultaneously with other high-power appliances (e.g. induction range, microwave), the circuit breaker may trip.
If the dishwasher does not turn on even though the circuit breaker is on and the power plug securely connected, the unit may need inspection.
Please consult the installation technician.
Do the letters [CL] appear on the panel?
➔ The control panel is locked.
To disable Control Lock (Child Lock), press and hold both [Half Load] and [Energy Saver] buttons for three seconds.
Note: Control Lock will remain enabled even after the dishwasher is turned off.
You can deactivate it using the buttons [Half Load] and [Energy Saver].
Do dashes appear on the panel after pressing the [Start] button?
➔ Water inside the tub is being drained, so please wait a moment.
Holding the [Start] button for three seconds will cancel the currently running wash cycle, causing the water to drain and the dishwasher to turn off automatically.
If you see dashes on the panel as illustrated in the image below, please wait until the cycle is fully canceled.
To toggle the sound on or off, press and hold the [Dual Zone] and [Energy Saver] buttons simultaneously for three seconds.
If the dishwasher is powered on but the panel does not light up when buttons are pressed, the unit may be malfunctioning and will require an inspection.
Note: The button combinations for turning the chime on/off may vary by dishwasher model.
