LG Kimchi Refrigerator - Troubleshooting Door Not Closing Properly

  • Troubleshooting

Is the rubber seal (door gasket) in the refrigerator door loose unlike before?

Causes and Symptoms

  • The refrigerator is too full or the refrigerator shelves are assembled incorrectly.
  • The door gasket is stained with residue such as food particles and grime.
  • The door gasket is damaged.

The door gasket keeps the refrigerator door closed to prevent cold air from leaking out.
There is a rubber magnet inside the door gasket to ensure adhesion without any gaps.
Clean the door gasket with a detergent frequently to keep it clean.
