Causes and Symptoms
➔ There is a set-top box remote control supplied by the set-top box service provider and a remote control provided with the TV monitor.
- If you try to use the remote control provided with the TV monitor while watching TV using the set-top box, number buttons or buttons used to change channels will not work.
- If the channel buttons and certain buttons on the remote control do not work, the remote control you are using may be the one supplied with the TV monitor.
➔ Check whether the remote control you are using is the one provided by the set-top box service provider.
When you watch TV from a set-top box HDMI input, you can only change channels using the remote control supplied by the set-top box service provider.
