LG Range - How To Clean An Induction Cooktop Top Plate

  • Troubleshooting

At a Glance

  • Moisture in the air is absorbed on the cooktop, resulting in water stains.
  • Water spots remain when a pan boils over from cooking food.

Any water marks on the cooktop can be removed easily if you wipe them off with a dedicated cleaner and a soft cloth once the surface has cooled. If you use the electric range while oil, sugar, or salt is on the bottom of the cookware, or seasonings are left on the cooktop during cooking, the cooktop may be scratched. In such cases, remove the substances using a scraper. To keep your cooktop clean, it's important to clean it regularly.
