G-Sync, also called the Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), is NVIDIA’s synchronization technology that is optimized for playing games.
This technology resolves the problems of stuttering or shattered image representation caused by a discrepancy between the image transfer from the PC graphics card and the representation on the TV screen so that users can fully enjoy smooth and seamless motions on a hi-fi game screen implemented by NVIDIA’s graphics card.
※ Note, however, that some TV models and graphics cards may not support this technology.
