LG TV - How to Enable VRR and G-Sync

  • Troubleshooting

At a Glance

G-Sync, also called the Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), is NVIDIA’s synchronization technology that is optimized for playing games.
This technology resolves the problems of stuttering or shattered image representation caused by a discrepancy between the image transfer from the PC graphics card and the representation on the TV screen so that users can fully enjoy smooth and seamless motions on a hi-fi game screen implemented by NVIDIA’s graphics card.

※ Note, however, that some TV models and graphics cards may not support this technology.

Try This

  • [2022 WebOS 22] Select ( Setting button ) → [All Settings] → [General] → [Game Optimizer] → [Game] → [VRR & G-Sync] → [On]
Image that enters all settings by pressing the setting button on the remote control
Image of selecting Game Optimizer from the general menu
Image to activate VRR & G-sync in game
Note
This is enabled only when an HDMI cable is connected.
This is enabled only when the Screen Mode is set to [Game Optimizer].
