[LG Wash Tower] Water is pooling inside the washing tub.

  • Troubleshooting

Causes and Symptoms

  • Water remains in the drum after the wash cycle completes.
  • Water is present in the drum before starting a wash.

Try this.

If water remains after the spin cycle:

  • Remove laundry promptly after the spin cycle finishes. Leaving it in the drum allows residual moisture to collect.
  • A small amount of water may enter the drum at the end of the spin cycle to aid in lint removal.
  • A small amount of residual water collecting at the bottom of the drum is normal.

If a significant amount of water is in the drum before washing:

  • If you are using a mini washing machine (TwinWash) with your WashTower, check the drain hose connection.
  • If the WashTower's drain hose is inserted too far into the drainpipe, or if the drainpipe is clogged, water draining from the mini washer may back up into the main washer.
Note:

If water enters the washing machine even when it's not in use, turn off the water supply valve and contact LG customer service for assistance.
